Why exactly do they always do this? What exactly is the intention behind this? Is it deliberate or just a coincidence? Is there a deliberate conspiracy by certain elements to promote their language and relegate Yoruba language? Shouldn’t Yoruba people be worried about popular non-Yoruba social media influencers putting out tweets like this?

Once they make you feel less of your language, culture, history etc, you’re a conquered people. Tell me exactly why that influencer is promoting Igbo rap and telling Asake to sing less in Yoruba and more in English?

Very simple. Why would anyone be promoting igbo rap and be condemning Yoruba pop?

I don’t like picking beans so answer my question. Why would anyone be promoting igbo rap and be condemning Yoruba pop at the same time?

Nothing hypocritical about withdrawing support from a politician if he’s not performing to one’s expectation. However, it’s quite hypocritical to promote Igbo rap and downgrade Yoruba rap. That’s not nice.

It’s intentional. That’s why we must keep calling out their hypocrisy and never be tired.
