NUPRC Vs Dangote Rift
One Week.. One Trouble undecided

The 'sanctity of contract' principle means that legally binding contracts must be honored and upheld by all parties involved, ensuring the integrity and enforceability of agreed-upon terms and obligations.

In normal language you would also say "contract sacredness" instead of "sanctity of contract"
Source:https://www.legalbriefai.com/legal-terms/sanctity-of-contract.

Obvious our Crude Oil had been contracted out.. Especially from the Afriexim bank $3bn loan.

Implication of The Released Statement:

We may not have PMS (Petrol) supply in August from Dangote Refinery (My Opinion

I thought dangote have already imported crude from US and Brasil. I expected him to start sell from those refinered crude pending supply from NNPC

pls why are you using 75% of assume FY EPS here.
you didn't use it in Total

You can check my earlier posts. I will however repeat that for companies the market adjudged their dividends policy to be a bit below average, use 75% of the calculations. You will recall this was the case for the likes of UBA, FCMB, Access, etc. before they caught up with the likes of Zenith, GTCO, Stanbic, etc. If the market is happy don’t apply 75%.

Afriexim Bank.
A bank made up of over 50 African Countries as well as Top African private companies, etc .
You don't want to joke with your Credit rating on the International scene..
The ripper effect in the near n distant term is more..
As @Mankind rightly put, probably only a Force Majeure(Covid 19, a Great National Disaster, Govt takeover, coup, or other Crisis)
can break such contract.
Do you know what credit rating is? A contract between two parts of a single business has nothing to do with Nigeria’s credit rating. Whatever contract you enter into while operating in Nigeria, which violates our law is your business.
The law supersedes contracts, they should hang their lawyers.

Hello bro, please how does a bonus issuance affects stock price in relation to your strategy

It does not. Will only drive the price up faster and higher after the bonus news is leaked or released e.g Ucap . Calculations are based on current eps or estimated dividend payment. The post referenced was actually before CBN and Recapitalization. Insiders buying into a stock currently well above valuation especially if the CEO or CFO must get why. E.g. UCAP bonus recently. 👀NAHCO 👀AfrPrud

Great job...
what are your thoughts on Unity bank?
Is it a good buy immediately after suspension is lifted?
What do you project to be the capital appreciation percentage from current price...
I of course understand that whatever you say isn't financial advice

I am developing what I will call NSEMPA Sentiment Index. Over the weekend I will go through all posts and count the number of times a stock is mentioned, and whether a buy or sell if indicated. Other parameters can be added later in further development. This will give a small weekly data base from which I will develop some form of an indicator to guide people as to which stocks are hot, and so on. In further development one may take the data daily and have periodic totals and averages. This system is commonly used in search engines, polling and market survey software.

So before I go on with it I want to know what people think about the idea. Is it a sensible, workable, or a stupid useless idea? Is someone already doing this or something similar? What may you add to make it better?

I will add that I do have a bit of free time since I am not working for anyone right now.

I don't know what your work is, but I know what it's not, stupid. Please remove Oando from the survey because it's own hotness is hyperlative, therefore abnormal. The Lord reinforce you with the strength.

Foreign Conspiracy against Dangote Refinery-David Hundeyin
Hmmm....
https://x.com/DavidHundeyin/status/1822059280973091320?s=19

But this same guy said there was no refinery being built and that it would never work. When there was news that the refinery had started supplying diesel to the Nigerian market, the same David said Dangote was only deceptively importing diesel and selling in Nigeria.

He is the last person you want to listen to when it comes to that refinery and I don't understand this attempt at romancing Dangote.

Maybe I used the wrong term, but it still boils down to trust..
It's not just between 2 parties: Afriexim Vs Nigeria...naaa
It's between 50 African Countries Vs Nigeria..

PIA is supposed to be regulated by NUPRC-NNPCL and their regulatory arm to ensure implementation in Nigeria.

Unfortunately, it's same NNPC(unbehalf of Nigeria) that entered into this International contract to help improve Forex and salvage our Naira then.. grin

Imported what quantity of crude, that's the matter.
Crude for 2 days, or 3 ?
The Refinery has oceanic appetite for crude; 650,000 barrels per day.
The biggest sngle-train refinery in the world.
(I don't know what is single-train).
Even the Government is pledging to supply only half of that.

I mean Dangote Refinery sold some of the refined products to foreign markets in Africa n Europe(Jet fuel/ Kerosene) not the Raw Crude itself..
Like you said lets wait and see

Yes. You may be right..
Even in his writeup, he is not still a fan..(Monopololistic tendencies, according to him)
But he doesn't seem to be a hater of the Refinery functioning to improve Africa n Nigerias Economy at large, if it is indeed true(I'm sure he shld have found out by now)

He thinks some NGOs wants to take advantage of this bias to use him to tarnish the Refinery the more given his anticededents on Dangote..

But I get your point.

If dang refinery knows whats good for them, they better forget Nigerian crude and market, buy abroad and sell his products abroad. Nogeria is not a serious country. Its still in the hands of evil men.

Dangote is making all this noise not because he loves Nigeria.
It is purely for him to maximize profit. If it is possible for him to ignore Nigeria crude and market,I am not sure if he would be this agitated.

I know northerners hardly talk.
$20billion is not moi moi. So he just has to talk.

When he said there was no refinery or that the refinery will never work, he said he has evidence. When he said Dangote was only importing produtcts to sell at the site as being from his fictitious refinery, he said he has evidence. It is that same person who never belived in a refinery that would now be aproached to write against the refinery?

He is a good writer, no doubt. But that is all about him. He writes fictions but because his fictions feast on Nigeria's political divides, he is bound to have followers regardless of how obviously false his stories are. Dangote is his next target to extort money from in the name of fighting for his refinery.

Ikeja Hotel

H1=62k
FY=0.62x2=1.24
Common Sense Value ( lower) = 1.24 x 4 =. N4. 96
Common Sense value (upper) =1.24 x 5 = N6.20
Target Price Range =N4.96 - N6.20
Current price = N6.8
Hence Overvalued by the strategy. NOT A GOOD BUY AT THE CURRENT PRICE. ALLOW TA TO SUPPORT. Please see charts.

Please also note that dividend payment is poor to bonds and treasury bill yields so if penalized by applying a 75% marked down of the lower value, would fall to N3.72.

For me, it's not a good buy except well below this figure. That's for me though.!!!

You guys don't understand how complicit the West is in keeping African people poor and to remain at survival level. Person wey dey hungry is powerless against corruption. You cannot stop corruption until the general living conditions of a people is high.
