Note: As I've always emphasized, I didn't replace this addiction with fornication (as many people propose as a solution). All through my recovery process till now I've never engaged in sex, as I'm not yet married. Glory to God!

This testimony is to encourage anyone struggling with the same (or any other addiction) that total victory is possible. Trust in God. Engage in accountability. Don't give up!

Porn is not the architect of overcommibg masturbation actually, the real problem is the brain and thought. If u can cleanse your brain of every sexual memory u have encountered in your past and occupy your thoughts with a lot of other stuffs that has no relationship with anything sexual, u are 80% out of that curse called masturbation u can even watch porn a million times without masturbating if your thoughts and brain is not fixed at sex.vwhen I watch porn, I never masturbate over it but when my brain takes me to my sexual memories, nothing stops me from masturbatimg,, prayer does not even work in this case honestly, just try and engage yourself with things that occupies your mind and make sure u exhausted of it so u don't have to allow your brain think about sexual stuffs. Brain is the most powerful tool of the human body and system. What is there to celebrate ffs? I don't understand. Why do we keep making it look like masturbation is a sin or something? The urge to have sex is already decreed by God into our body and if a man is still yet to marry and doesn't want to indulge in fornication, how else would you advise a hørny man to release the sexual tension in his body other than masturbating?

I'm not married, and I'd rather keep masturbating to release tension instead of bottling it all in and end up driving me crazy or worse, rape someone's daughter. First there's nothing wrong with masturbation, as long as it is done in moderation, as with every other activity in life. I'm talking from the medical point of view, not the spiritual or religious. Medically masturbation in moderation has a way of protecting against prostate cancer.

Second, getting married does not prevent masturbation. In fact there are lots of people who STARTED masturbation in marriage, due to sexual frustration from the spouse. You have many cases in which one partner is perfectly fine with not having sex for months, while the other partner who has a higher libido is left with no other option than to masturbate or seek other people for sexual gratification

"One day Muhammad went out looking for Zayd. Now there was a covering of haircloth over the doorway, but the wind had lifted the covering so that the doorway was uncovered. Zaynab was in her chamber, undressed, and admiration for her entered the heart of the Prophet. After that Allah made her unattractive to Zayd”
