Why Is It Difficult To Date Female Medics by Edpuma: 6:59pm On Aug 11 |
I have come around female medical students and doctors, when it comes to acceptance of friendship, that is on a slight note but when it comes to furthering ahead for courtship or marital settlement, they just start telling you that they are only interested in friendship and not marriage that they are not looking at that picture even though, the spark in the relationship was already there initially when at the point of getting to know one another... Then just a mistake in the relationship, you see them blocking and backing out when it could have easily been reconciled. 8 Likes

SunShowAfrica: I quite agree with you, the first one just waited for a little misunderstanding and zoomed off and started blocking me from all social media platforms and she is still yet to marry since 2018, she is now a doctor for like five years now and still not married just taking her shots with the de creme la creme of the society... Hezzyluv: One just started snubbing, ignoring all my attempts to communicate with her. These hypogamy and hypergamy are actually real in dating, I believe, the female medics only believe they are marrying at par not even marrying up (hypergamy), if they marry their colleagues or very wealthy/influential professionals while they feel they will be marrying down (hypogamy) if they see the dating move(s) coming from outside the medical field from my several experiences. 15 Likes |

Th Thatâs the rare fact, many of them see those guys outside their profession as someone that doesnât worth their standard. Due to job challenges in Nigeria, many Nigerians does not really have a good job, if I say âgoodâ,I mean job of around 150k monthly. Because of that they either look for people in their field, or look for those high profile profession like Lecturing, lawyer,Accounting, not knowing that the narrative as changed as it was before that those profession were lucrative and were valued in society of Nigeria. In Nigeria of today, a lawyer might not really make money up to a man that does POS, but because the job isnât a white collar job or office work, most ladies in medicine wonât derive interest in such person even if the love is real. They have forgotten that true love matters and not considering any profession. On the contrary, those guys they are tripping for in their dept donât really end up marrying them. Most of them donât like them because they donât really make good wife in âchild upbringing â Only few of them does. An average medical profession lady will be in hospital most time of her life, now if husband also does the same thing, who will nurture the children? So, thatâs why most were either single till old age, I know a chiprotractor in Florida still looking for husband at 62 years, imagine! She has never married before and had no child. Some married wrongly because they donât want to marry out of their field, and some that married were later divorced. Thatâs one of the reasons. 60 Likes 4 Shares |

Lol. This particular guy, Zonefree, and that Benin Damnniggarrr guy, can never get the flimsiest chance of a medical student(in the top Medical Schools). I'm willing to bet anything. Bro has zero respect for women. Lol. Why? Zonefree:That said, I won't train my daughter up to the level of a doctor and beyond to a specialist level, only to come bring one stupidd idiot that spends his whole life on NL yapping rubbish and hoping all day, or one fooll that lives large scamming people, doing yahoo, fraud, and the likes, when they're lots of important people who contribute meaningfully to the society. Well, my daughter has to be intelligent na sha... can't raise a dummy. Be like you people don't know they're still a good number of vital people in the society. You don't just hear about them because they've all been scooped. No be to dey waste everyday dey see Burna boy, Wizkid, Davido. Portable, and whatnot gan, when you could radiate purer values yourself. You think a top notch female medical student with a handful of options will degrade herself like Chioma and be doing rubbish quitting medical schools and lowlifes be hailing her upandan? Lol. Hian, poor or rich, better create values for your children so they have a high chance of attracting good things and people. 59 Likes 6 Shares |

Tricks to date a female medical dr 1)have a life..I.e get something doing that fetch you something decent 2) approach her with open mind by being friendly but not friends.. 3) regular check up but don't be too clingy get to understand her personality likes and dislikes understand work can mess up her emotions don't take it to heart. 4) state your intention and give her space to decide..don't bombard with calls and attention let her choose with a clear eye 5) the key is never be too clingy and know when to walk away ..learn to respect yourself and walk away at any sight of disrespect. 6) keep focusing on your grind..continue improving and achieving in your chosen endeavour 7)make sure you have funds ready cos 99 percent of female Dr's are ripe for marriage so no loafing around you might not meet her single if u delay 1-3yrs max in rare cases some can be more . understand that they love the why for every decision. Meaning you can't cook up stories..their brains are wired to think logically. But at times that emotional side comes up..u can't remove the woman in her frm the dr. Peace 51 Likes 4 Shares |

Tohsynetita1: The only part I agree with is some female medics eventually don't end up with anyone, because it is true. The problem is also in civil service and it's common in Nigeria too. That aside, all other things you stated are the men's issue because they already decided in their mind that a lady in a particular field is bigger than them. So it's basically a self esteem issue. I am surprised Nigerians consider 150k big money tho. No wonder this guy staying with us got married the moment he started earning 150. 13 Likes |

Creamypie: Before you become a doctor, you'd probably be married so the chance of a female medic marrying a Dr. or vice versa is very very slim. Besides, professors in nigeria hardly earn more than 400k. A young boy in KPMG or Oando would double their salary probably at entry level. So no, lecturing is not high professional career. 12 Likes 1 Share |

The Critical Imperative to Address Children's Mental Health The mental health of children is in crisis, requiring urgent attention from all sectors of society. With an increasing number of young people facing mental health challenges, itâs essential for parents, educators, and communities to act swiftly in recognizing the early signs and providing the necessary support. Many children struggle to express their emotions or may not even realize they need help, making early intervention a crucial factor in their well-being. Spotting the Signs: Recognizing Behavioral Changes Children often lack the ability to articulate their emotions as clearly as adults. Consequently, what may seem like a minor mood swing could be the early stages of a more serious mental health issue. Parents should be vigilant in noticing any unusual behavior or sudden changes in their childâs daily routine. Increased irritability, withdrawal from social interactions, or a decline in academic performance can all be potential indicators of emotional distress. Itâs important for parents to distinguish between typical childhood behavior and signs of potential mental health problems. Even if a behavior seems like just a passing phase, staying observant and engaged can lead to early identification and intervention, which is key to addressing mental health concerns effectively. Fostering Open Communication: The Power of Dialogue One of the most impactful ways to support a childâs mental health is through open, honest communication. Although children and adolescents may resist discussing their feelings, finding the right approach can significantly improve their willingness to share. Parents should strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where children feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. Approaching these conversations with empathy and patience is crucial. Instead of demanding immediate answers, allowing children to express themselves at their own pace can lead to more genuine and productive discussions. By remaining calm, approachable, and understanding, parents can help their children feel secure enough to open up about their struggles. Addressing Common Mental Health Issues in Children Mental health issues in children can manifest in various ways, with anxiety and depression being among the most common. Early recognition of these conditions is essential for effective intervention. Anxiety in children may appear as excessive worry, restlessness, or physical symptoms like headaches and stomachaches. Depression might present as prolonged sadness, loss of interest in activities, or significant changes in sleep patterns. Beyond anxiety and depression, other mental health concerns such as eating disorders, behavioral issues, and the effects of trauma can also significantly impact a child's well-being. Itâs important for parents and caregivers to be aware of these issues and to seek help when needed. Taking Decisive Action: When and How to Seek Help When a child's mental health is in jeopardy, seeking professional help without delay is vital. Persistent mood changes, withdrawal from social activities, or behaviors that interfere with daily life are all signs that it may be time to consult a https://tematherapy.com/working-with-children. Parents should familiarize themselves with available resources, including school counselors, pediatricians, and specialized mental health professionals. Itâs also crucial to overcome the stigma often associated with mental health care. Many parents hesitate to seek help due to fear of judgment, but acknowledging the importance of mental health is the first step toward ensuring a childâs long-term well-being. Promoting Ongoing Mental Wellness Addressing a child's mental health needs goes beyond the initial intervention. Building resilience and teaching coping strategies are vital for sustaining long-term wellness. Parents can play a significant role in helping their children develop these skills by modeling positive behaviors, encouraging ongoing communication, and fostering a supportive home environment. Engaging schools and community organizations can further bolster a childâs support system. Educators, peers, and community groups can provide additional resources and encouragement, reinforcing the importance of mental health care throughout a childâs development.
