TOE is in the good books of BAT. What better time than now to declare interest in the lucrative oil wells... Heirs Energies Oil Portfolio (TNOG Oil&Gas and Tenoil) currently operate OML 17 (27,000 boepd), Ata Field (3,500 boepd), OPL 218, OPL 2008. Imagine of TOE/HH had one oil well. JUST IMAGINE Chairman of Heirs Holdings(HH), Tony Elumelu once said this about TRANSCORP's acquisition of 45% interest in OML17 in January 2021: “We have a very clear vision: creating Africa’s first integrated energy multinational, a global quality business, uniquely focused on Africa and Africa’s energy needs. The acquisition of such a high-quality asset, with significant potential for further growth, is a strong statement of our confidence in Nigeria, the Nigerian oil and gas sector and a tribute to the extremely high-quality management team that we have assembled. As a Nigerian, and more particularly an indigene of the Niger Delta region, I understand well our responsibilities that come with stewardship of the asset, our engagement with communities and the strategic importance of the oil and gas sector in Nigeria. We see significant benefits from integrating our production, with our ability to power Nigeria, through Transcorp, and deliver value across the energy value chain.” TRANSPOWER came in Q1 2024... 1 Like

I love how you see the bigger picture. UNITY returning to profitability is solely dependent on sentiments not any earnings forecast. Where will they get the funds for operations to make any profit Current shareholders can enjoy a brief period of profitability IF the suspension is lifted before the 'merger' news/details is officially announced... Nothing is 100% certain at this moment Omooloriredade: |

Streetinvestor2:Though Mr. Elumelu was at the meeting, it was Mr. Otedola that openly supported the 70% tax windfall. For him to be personally visited after Election, then he will surely get his hands on some of the next blocs of Oil Mining Lisence(OML) that will be on sale before the president's tenure ends .. |

KarlTom:Even with the Merger They(Providus + Unity) still need to raise about ₦150bn to meet up with Capitalisation quota. (nairametrics) Though not as much as others. |

KarlTom: I agree that prices probably will rally after suspension on the news of projected return to profitability and merger.. how long it will last is not known... might be fleeting... like a pump and dump scenario... |

For all those in Oando bus i would advise (not financial advice) that you hold your shares until at least when Bola Tinubu is about to vacate office... 2027 or 2031 all things being equal.. if Oando doesn't delist (looking more unlikely by the day) and you are not in dire need of funds... |

emmaodet: So? So why did the Managing Director Mr. Wole Oshin purchase over 19 million units on 7th June 2024 at an average price of N10.56? I don't think it's for 15 kobo dividends alone? It must get why! At best replicate this or better still buy below this price. That is if it eventually falls below this before it starts heading north. I would jump in at any price around 10.50 or lower, topping up should it dip further. Target still 22.00. Likely to do well. Still do your DD. 6 Likes |

Alagbalaowo: H1 = x2 x4 Q=x4 x4 True for all stocks. Mega caps seem comfortable with x5 ( the upper range ) e.g Total I need not remind you that the Femi Otedola factor can drive some stock well above what is reasonable. I avoid such stocks. Not unless you prefer a ROI of less than 5%. For growth stocks, you need to use the best Q x 4 if doing well and the worst Q if doing badly. |

aj8:Bros no vex.i don't need the information again. I cannot go through all the H1 result. I have gone through some and made my calls for people who may feel interested. I even went further to talk about realised and unrealized forex loss.I talked of os of some insurance companies and talked about os of custodian being good at 5B plus. I was attracted to your post seeing a company in that price with annualised eps of #7 plus. And since it is on your radar I wanted to verify if the eps is organically generated or forex induced because it is large.Oga is long I stopped taking buy decisions without my own DD. I no dey look to be baby fed oh. |
