President Bola Tinubu may have capitulated to political intrigues in the Presidency as well as other vested interests and called off his earlier resolve to sanitise leading government-owned enterprises (GOEs), which led to the inauguration of Jim Obazee panel, The Guardian learnt at the weekend. https://guardian.ng/business-services/how-tinubu-hurriedly-terminated-cbns-special-investigation/ 3 Likes

It will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for the Tinubu government to even pretend to initiate a fight against corruption. Tinubu oozes corruption and state graft. He is the only individual who has held a state captive for over two decades, milking and syphoning its commonwealth. Nuhu Ribadu, the pioneer EFCC chairman, once said, and I quote, "The Bola Ahmed Tinubu corruption case is of international dimensions. Bola Ahmed Tinubu won't escape justice but will be made to face the full wrath of the law." Ironically, Nuhu Ribadu is his national security adviser, an exalted office that has been devalued to become Tinubu's protocol office. He is now one of Tinubu's cheerleaders, singing "On your mandate, we shall stand." The Tinubu government is the only government in Nigeria's history that is morally and ethically deficient. At the end of his tenure, when the corruption perpetuated under this government will be unearthed, it will be mind-blowing. In fact, the country called Nigeria might fold up. 89 Likes 12 Shares

Hehehe. Can corruption fight corruption . The one who built Lagos is also a strategist in looting and corruption. If he is not involved, his boys must be involved. Let the poor keep on fighting each other, while the rich politicians keep on looting . 80 Likes 12 Shares |

I thought Tinubu, being smart and corrupt himself, would not allow people to outsmart him, but I was wrong. He appears weak. What happened to the saying; dog no de chop dog? Two clueless men succeeded each other. May God rescue Nigeria. 31 Likes 2 Shares |

When Tinubu government came in, first thing they did was to attack EFCC office and free take away documents indicting them. When boko haram took over maidugiri, first thing they did was to attack the prison and free their members. 23 Likes 4 Shares |

Let them just dissolve Nigeria and let's start afresh. Tinubu is trying his best but previous dealings are derailing him. |

This is why I always believe that Nigeria need a patriotic soldier to take over from these politicians, investigate them, confiscate all the assets of the guilty one and send them to prison, enact a new constitution that will make corruption capatal offence and embark on total reform of this country. But expecting politicians to reform this country is a false hope that will only be selling to us when they need our votes but in reality it will never be implemented because all of them are friends behind the scene. 12 Likes 1 Share |

The big fish has been indicted hence, they hurriedly close the panel to cover face. If the panel revealed their findings directly to the public, your guess is good as mine. Of course they won't say pim to the public because they were under a oats. Forget all you read about the report findings on newspaper and online. It did not reflect the real reports. 2 Likes |

I don't agree. There was a timeline for investigation and Mr. Obazee had enough of it. He concluded his investigation and submitted his reports https://www.arise.tv/nine-months-after-obazee-concludes-investigation-into-cbn-and-related-entities/ If he is again interested in the job, he should come out clean..not all these backend media campaigns It was reported then, that his team were carrying out "illegal raids" even after submissions of their reports and expirations of their contracts https://dailynigerian.com/onsa-summons-cbn-investigator/ So, why this news again? If President Tinubu needs his service again, he should reappoint him..but I don't understand this media noise 4 Likes |

Corruption has been "free-for-all" since the civilian administration took over in 1999,unlike during the military era when only the top military echelons and their civilian partners could engage in corrupt practices without fear 1 Like |
