I already did a biometrics that will expire in 2029 but I wish to pay for another one for a ten years visa.

While filling the form, I dint see any option to opt for another biometrics. So I thought that it will be done differently after submission.

Now after submission, I saw online that I am meant to pay for biometrics and application fees together while applying . But that I can still make payment online and submit receipt on web form

Please has anyone experienced this before or seen someone that has? how long will it take to get a reply or letter for biometrics? Will this slow my application process? Or will it affect my application totally?🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

You still have valid biometrics until 2029 from your previous application, even though it was refused. Therefore, you don’t need to worry about paying for or scheduling another biometrics appointment now. Your profile should be updated with your 2029 biometric expiry date automatically if you fill in your data correctly as on the old application. Log in to your profile, and you should see your 2019 and 2029 expiry dates on your new application mostly within 3 days after you applied. Your main concern should be getting your visa approved in this era, and the current processing time is 6 months. Good luck

Ur name,place of birth,date of birth.that what the system use to identify you and not ur passport number alone but if the old biometric not update within 3 days then send a webform to ircc and indicate ur old biometic details.

Do I still need a transit visa seeing that London is not a Schengen country.

PS I also have a valid american visa

You are right, it is not a requirement but I request for to prove my clients are law abiding citizens with no criminal records.

Waste of money . There is no need to proof your clients are law abiding . Strong home ties and financial strength are crucial . More importantly purpose of visit

It’s called marketing strategy, and she did not force you to take the service. It’s the same as what banks, insurance companies, and many other companies do in the West. So, make sure to do thorough research and ask many questions before using any service=)

If you were actually told it was compulsory, then that is wrong becos it optional service . You should write to the VFS center’s email and also contact them on social media, such as Facebook, to file a complaint and request a refund.

You have to use a dollar bank card linked to your dom account. The naira denominated cards will not work.

My spouse enrolled in a 2 year Diploma course and end of this month will be a year since our separation.

From what I hear now, you must be have been separated from your College spouse at least a year before IRCC can positively consider your spousal or family visit.

I will advise those whose spouse are running a year course to only apply to attend graduation as this one year requirements has badly affected spouse looking to join students with one year course except special cases where children are involved.
