Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by TadeDetule: 9:48am On Aug 12 |
Ebereola: You are sending a single courier but two packages. One is for embassy authentication. You will have to include a receiver's address in Brazil and the person's ID in this case copy of permanent resident card. The second documents are the entire copies you uploaded on the application website. For one, you would include copy of payment receipt and the embassy would send on your behalf once they are done. For two, they would send this back to you when they are through. NB: this would be two payments, international and local. They would explain to you when you get there. If you are in Lagos you can go to EMS in VI. It's easier and way cheaper. |

Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by Ebereola: 10:01am On Aug 12 |
Am i to send the documents after booking an appointment on the embassy's page? If so,. am I to select Legalization of non brazillian documents or to select study visa? Im so confused, please help. TadeDetule: |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by TadeDetule: 10:04am On Aug 12 |
Ebereola: You dont need the MOE for those but you need MOFA for police report and then you legalize |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by TadeDetule: 10:08am On Aug 12 |
Ebereola: After the online application, go ahead to book appointment for both. They are separate requests. Follow the prompt for each and wait for the embassy to acknowledge your request. You would be advised to print the receipt of appointment and add to the documents you are sending to them |

OK. I am understanding small small. God bless you for me. Just to be sure I am not doing the wrong thing, please see the steps I am following; 1. Gather all my documents 2. Notarize at the Notary public and MFA. Please for this, am I notarizing two sets of documents? since you said I will send one to my contact in Brazil? ( Please help me break it down. I don't want to make mistakes. 3. Fill the online form 4. Book appointment for both legalization and study visa 5. Please how do I know how much to pay since I am supposed to make payment for legalization before sending via courier? ALSO, PLEASE AM I NOTARIZING ALL DOCUMENTS (Apart from PC that is supposed to be notarized with MOFA) TadeDetule: |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by TadeDetule: 10:47am On Aug 12 |
Ebereola: No you are notarizing a single set of documents. Academic and non academic(marriage or birth certificate) Each academic document is #9000 and #36000 for non academic. You can make payment online |

I need help. Can you recommend the other schools or schools that are open for me to apply now. Thank you. Deemamadee: |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by CindyByFine(f): 1:28pm On Aug 13 |
Please I need help with other schools that are open to foreign students living outside Brazil. I tried applying to https://www.fiap.com.br/mba but their requirements are so stringent that I cannot apply from Nigeria without help. [8/13, 12:56 PM] FIAP MBA: Right Ifeoma, in reality the option for international extension is for students who study here to go abroad. [8/13, 12:57 PM] FIAP MBA: To study here as a foreigner, the following documentation is required: Covalidation of the diploma, transcript and sworn translation. RNE issued in Brazil. Issue the CPF on the Federal Revenue website. [8/13, 12:57 PM] FIAP MBA: Covalidation of your diploma can only be done in Brazil. The RNE is the national foreigner registration that must be issued directly to the Brazilian federal police. untamedd: |

Karleb:Its hard because you are learning the wrong way. Learn the way a baby or an illiterate learns. 1st stage you just want to understand what actions or meanings are associated with the words you hear. So if you don't live in a Country where the language you are learning is spoken, you want to download plenty of videos with subtitle in the same language and not English. This is a very common mistake we all make while learning and reason we keep struggling with first thinking of what we want to say in English before converting to the new language. 2nd step, commit to writing out at least 5 new words you learnt each day. So as step 1 gets you to learning the language, step 2 will help you achieve whatever level of mastery you desire. |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by Karleb(m): 1:26am On Sep 06 |
MrNovo: I wouldn't say this is the case though. I practice my portugese daily on Duo, I read portugese on my socials, I chat with some portugese friends and I attend a weekly class. It's just that learning a new language is hard, I wish I could be doing more but we are always on our toes trying to outsmart my brother and his stupid government policies. Thanks for the input though. |

Seems this thread only comes alive in GCUB season and then goes dead. But considering how short the application window is, I would have thought discussions and engagements continue through the year to get documentations ready in advance. |
Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by MrNovo: 11:17am On Sep 12 |
GCUB is not the only pathway for Masters and PhD admissions in Brazil. In fact all the schools run their independent admission programs. If there's a WhatsApp group specifically for postgraduate admission in Brazil, someone should kindly point me to it otherwise if you are interested get in touch with my number below let's have a group where we can share urgent updates and assist each other through the process. Forget visitors visa especially if you already have a Bachelor's degree. 4 Likes |

Login through Sigaa and apply for some schools that their applications are still open, last week I checked Msc in nursing and some other Msc and PhD courses are still open. Also visit a lot of the schools websites and apply for available problems, apply for as many as possible while still waiting for GCUB result that will be out by November. Some of these schools offer scholarships with stipend just like GCUB program. MrNovo: |

Deemamadee:Congrats! As it said, good things come to those who are patient. Please if you don't mind drop the name of the school that insisted on interview in Portuguese, so we can avoid them. |
