Attacking civilians is not the same as attacking soldiers. Now that russian reserves have arrived to meet the Ukrainians in Kursk, the "victory" is evaporating. Meanwhile Ukraine is losing even faster in the other frontlines in which it tried to create a distraction with this Kursk PR invasion.

The invasion of Kursk will only accelerate russian victory.

Ukraine entered Kursk about four days ago and has been pushed back. Many western analysts and pro-Ukrainians have even questioned why Ukraine invaded Kursk because it makes no sense.

They have said it time and time again that Ukraine should focus on beating Russia back from Eastern Ukraine instead of launching attacks into forested areas like Kursk which Russia doesn't even defend because there is no point attacking it.

However, Ukrainian generals said they attacked Kursk with the hopes that Russia will withdraw forces from Eastern Ukraine and send them into Kursk.
