To go lower to 3rd division na nonsense advice .
But at least he will no longer disturb us about how much he earns, but he will definitely seek out if he is the lowest paid player there.

Av bin reading silently without commenting, looking for who will bell the cat.

Hmm is Nigeria poor outing at the Olympics not enof for farmer John Enof to resign as balablu sport minister. 12 or 9 billion just disappear into thin air without any medal to show for it.

every football fan knows the ‘senior man’ nickname

Yes Ernest Okonkwo who passed on around the late 80s nicknamed the 80s players. He wasn't responsible for nicknames of the the players of the 90s and 2000s.

Lol! Just saw this few minutes ago. You have never posted on this forum.

Your first post is to do giveaway?
You have bad internet in your location and you want to do 150k give away?

How could people fall for this?

Greetings house. Please for the detribalized Nigerian annual award of 150k, could monikers here volunteer to tabulate the nominations for us ? Because l might miss some nominations owing to bad internet connection in my location.
If that is possible, l am suggesting we give the 2-man committee 40k for their data while the winner takes 110k.
House please your suggestions !

Yes agreed but according to the list you posted he gave out 87% of those nicknames. Some names in the 90s were not well known to fans except JayJay,Papilo,Aghawonder and Prince of Monaco…I can tell you that average football fans don’t know Taribo,John Utaka and Amunike nicknames,so I gave it to Ernest Okonkwo……the post was made on FB to celebrate legendary Ernest Okonkwo who dead in 1990 after Algier 90

Larry Izamoje (long before Brilafm) and Bimbo Akintola had a lot do with those late 80s and 90s sobriquet! They took over from Ernest, I believe!

Larry came in the 90s through his powerful morning sports Radio program but we have good commentators like Yinka Craig,Fabio Olanipekun,Hameed Adio,Modele Sharafa Yusuf,Mitchele Obi who did well giving these guys names in the 90s but no one near Ernest Okonkwo who even gave some players nicknames watching NPFL,just check those nicknames you see real intellect in Ernest Okonkwo

Elder, you are obsessed with the past and have exaggerated nostalgic ratings of the 80's and 90's commentators/sports anchors.

I do not think the nicknames given to Nigerian players by Ernest Okonkwo reflected his intelligence.

I'll opine that it was due to patriotism and nationalistic fervour, and were an exaggeration and overhype of the players talent and football abilities.

I think the real problem is if u made Africa a country, this would still be a bad result, relatively speaking
True... The issue is most African countries are not interested in any other activities aside football. The only sport that reigns is football. However, I still think Nigeria can do better in other sports. Maybe creating mini-federation for each sports. That's when there is economic stability sha.
