Government know the solution but refuse to solve it because of political reason. Currently their are bandit in government, army, and in most sectors. We have DSS, NIA etc, they knew them, just to fish them out and punish them disgracefully others will stop. They just want to kill those civil defense guys for nothing.

Update and Upgrade the police force to do their job better. Creating a whole new task force is a waste of money when the Nigerian police that ought to be handling this problem from the beginning remains incompetent and incapable of doing just that, protecting(farms, properties, and lives included) and serving the many communities across Nigeria.

It is not just about ranching. Bandits are pushing people away from their farms.

You start from ranching then each State makes law that any baggar seen herding cattle will be treated like a bandit/terrorist because they are alike! The ish will gradually fizzle out. No need to romance issues.
