I stayed away from the whole Miss South Africa thing because of the hypocrisy all over the timeline. An Anambra girl cannot even win Miss Ondo so imagine what will happen if a foreigner ever contests for Miss Nigeria..

We are not better than South Africans. Even in Igbo land, Anambra people do not like marrying outside Anambra state because they believe they are superior to everyone else from the South-east. The tribalism thing eats deep into the average black man.

South Africans have every right to reject a foreigner from contesting in their pageantry. They did not do anything the average Nigerian would not also do.

I can't just wake up and start lying against them. I was born and raised there.

Another discrimination happening in Igbo Land is towards Ebonyi people, which is why "onye-abakiliki" is like a curse word. Even my Enugu people are guilty of it too. The other states in the east do not rate Ebonyi people. Gen Zs might not really care but our parents are heavily tribalistic.

Tribalism and discrimination is everywhere. We are all guilty of it so watching Nigerians get angry at South Africans was just funny. Pot and kettle.

Nd'ebonyi are looked down on, same as Nd'anioma too who are not considered core Igbos.

In some markets in ala Lagos, only Ndi Imo or Ndi Anambra can be the chairman.
