Exactly! But the Great Pastor has right to celebrate his wife. Other Great Persons like Flavor, Elumelu, and others that attended the Birthday were never condemned to stop their professions, but only the innocent Pastor.

Nah. You cant throw a party when your landlord dies. Its all about empathy

Elumelu and flavour were not his members. Wigwe was a man that contributed massively to the church, his wife's stupid birthday could have waited. He deserved to be kicked out.

Some Nigerian pastors, particularly those promoting prosperity gospel like certain RCCG pastors, engage in deeply unethical practices. They often ignore the deceptive actions of their leader, Adeboye, who has built a reputation on falsehoods and manipulation.

Despite being in his 80s, he continues to mislead his followers, claiming they'll go to hell if they don't pay tithes. As a billionaire, he preys on the vulnerable—those who are barren, sick, unemployed, disabled, or suffering from cancer—exploiting their hopes with promises of miracles that never materialize.

In one tragic case, my uncle, who was a member of RCCG was told that his son’s mental health struggles were due to insufficient tithing. Desperate, he increased his contributions threefold and selling some properties, but nothing changed. Sadly, my cousin ultimately took his own life.

It is your type that attend interviews for executive positions with ripped jeans and a t-shirt with swear words on it.

When you don't get the job you will be blaming the recruiters.

I say this because no sensible person will not find it inappropriate that a female PASTOR is dancing joyfully and recklessly with Flavour who is a much younger man just ONE WEEK after the largest financial pillar in the church died a tragic death and was still in the mortuary.

People like you lack understanding.

So you find what is abnormal, normal.

Also, I suppose you know much more than the entire leadership of Redeemed as regards the moral expectations placed on the pastors in the church.

Every Knowledgable Christian should know one thing. Pastors are also human just like you. Do not make pastors your standard, if you do, you will be disappointed. Jesus is our standard!

Yoruba Church. E hard before Jesus go use Igbo man as the G O or Financial Secretary of this church.

That is WHEN we will START hearing about FACTIONAL Daddy GO'S and FACTIONAL Youth Leaders. ....In fact once Eboes start heading ANY of these Yoruba Churches.....Just forget the word "Decorum".

Onitsha Wing will start fighting Ebonyi Wing.....

These folks are toooo "Archaic" to be in any "Organized" Setup.

I am a Northerner!

I really fancied his style of ministering. He created a friendly atmosphere in his services. But after that Wigwe incident, my respect for him flew out of the window. He disappointed everyone so much so that even his close connection to the church highest hierarchy could not save him.

My greatest shock still is his refusal to tender a public apology. At least he should have humbly apologized on behalf of his arrogant wife. On this basis will heaven hold him accountable.

What was he supposed to apologise for? Sorry I missed any news/info about any of that
