I officially resign from any "Nwakali Super Eagles return" talks.

It is over for me. I retire from any Nwakali-Super Eagles discourse with immediate effect.

I do not think I insult you in anyways. I just put out my reservation concerning your post.

Since you have cleared that up.
I am nominating BankyGee for the award.

And I will be nominating Charlesemeka85 and Odunayaw for the committee.

Thank you for all you have done and still doing! Peace!

My brother, your false comment is exactly why Nigeria is where it is today. You do not go around slandering people without ample evidence. That you have not seen my comments here does not mean l don't comment or follow.
1. During u20, wafu zone B qualifiers 2 years ago in Niamey, l was updating this thread with happenings on the flying eagles camp. When our striker ( Ahmed) collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, l was the person who informed this thread on his condition in the hospital.
2. That you do not know me does not mean others don't know me. People like safarigirl know me and we chat on personal note.

3. During covid 19, l did giveaway on nairaland. You can check my nairaland postings. Beremx was the person who dispatched the money into the beneficiaries accounts.

Again, learn how to talk to people because l am not the type you can insult around.

I am not someone that post without due verification.
I dig and I know what I saw before I made my comment.
But I won't be going on and on about this since you all agree he's genuine, and he has also addressed my comment.

You too should learn to ask questions not quick to make accusations! Peace!
semid4lyfe:

Like you, my antenna was raised when I saw his giveaway post but I took the time to go through his profile and read all his post in the forum.

Dude has been consistent with this detribalization thing and even did a 20k monthly giveaway for the most detribalized poster in politics section a while back and he delivered. Long story short, as far as I can tell from his post history, he's legit.

The bigger issue is how to set up acceptable guidelines/rules for this 100k year-end giveaway for the most detribalized poster in this thread.

Final word - Be slow to post and be quick to dig. This own goal you scored would have been avoided if you had gone through the OP's profile and investigated his activities on Nairaland.

No I won't be disposed but not to worry. There is no rush because we have capable hands who have contributed immensely to the growth of this thread without causing troubles. Mrs Humility, Maidaboi, Danielnino and TheSupernerd(if him go get chance) are the best people for the job. Danielnino especially has handled such matters before during our annual awards. Out of these four and other members who have been consistent for years, we can get someone to do the job.

If they reject it, then we can consider any of these new monikers flying around since this offer was made, but that will be after much scrutiny.

OK then. Any of the above mentioned monikers should please help us if they have chance.
I will like to help if it is OK

No problem. I will enjoy it if he can still make our Super Eagles midfield but I am no longer concerned. I have resigned.

Will only speak on him from a general standpoint and IF he is featuring for us in the GWG. Outside these two contexts... Nada.

@emboldened... no lies spoken. So much on point. Osimhen does have the ruggedness and bullishness of Drogba and Costa. Lethally bullish yet technically sound.

Starboytwo:
Their loss. Chelsea's gain.

It will be a match made in heaven if Chelsea nab that guy. His got the characteristics of Chelsea's successful strikers. Drogba /Costa.

He will cook and drag with Halland at the top of the list...

Let Arsenal be dulling...

Greetings Lelion. I have done my due diligence since the first day you created this post and I see you have threads of such in a few other sections. I only waited to see how the thread will receive it before I say anything.

Well, welcome. It's a nice initiative but why not make it a Top 3 thing?

Most nominated to get 75k, 2nd most nominated to get 50k and third most nominated to get 25k.
It is still within the 150k budget.

Making it a winner-takes-all sounds a little off to me.

But hey, it's your money. You choose what you do with it. But I am putting forward this suggestion for the thread's sake because I know we have a couple of nice individuals in here who see way beyond tribal lines and nepotism.

This is why it is hard for me to drop just one name

Kindly consider making it a top 3 thing. In the end, it is your cash reward. I would love to see your response to this suggestion.

Once again, welcome and my big hi to the notorious silent readers' association of this thread.

lelion:
150k annual token:
Greetings house ! I have been following this football thread for years though l hardly comment. I must confess you are all doing great jobs here and many Super Eagles and football lovers around the World are proud of you guys.
However, it appears some few individuals are trying to import their tribalism ( which have kept Nigeria on it's knees) to this beautiful house and we must resist that.
I want to be given 150k to the most detribalized Nigerian on this thread starting from December this year.
Please, the house should Nominate 3 monikers, and together with my other silent readers will chose the winner.
Thanks.

Just seeing that Humility33 also suggested something similar. Interesting.

humility33:

I love what you're doing most especially in the area of promoting non-tribalism in football and politics. It is very necessary because the foremost thing that has militate against Nigerians progress is not corruption per se it is tribalism and religion fanactism.

I will gladly work with you not as a beneficiary but as one of those that will assist in picking the beneficiaries.

If the money can be split please into like 2 or 3 so that more people can benefit. It will go a long way. Just a suggestion Brother

Thanks

You have a nice suggestion Nerd and I was thinking same thing but a little bit different from yours.
I was thinking it should be given to 3 members here instead of just 1. But before that, maybe 10k each should be given to the 2 members that will compile the names been dropped, which will serve as their data, while the balance 130k will be shared between the choosing 3 members
