Lagos is a crying shame. Good for nothing state ruled by failures and crimi also since 1999 till today, except Ambode. Lagos should be raking in at least 40 billion dollars monthly if not foe the free foe all stealing going on there. Real lagos indigenes has been crying for the massive looting in Lagos. It's a pity. 14 Likes 2 Shares

States over taxing their people just to lavish the money on over priced, no viable infrastructure projects But there is no excuse why IMO the second largest economy can't generate 150 billion minimum tho absolutely no excuse 1 Like 1 Share |

Ekiti is about to make a huge loan request. Whenever a state hikes and puts up a questionable IGR data, it wants to convince lenders on it's repayment capacity. 5 Likes 1 Share |

This same IGR for a particular state was increased by about 6Billion by a Predecessor, and one Fraud of a man took over for 8 years and increased it by only 1B, he left office and another Governor entered and increased it by about 8 Billion. Na that same man dem dey package for us as the best man for the job. Thunder go fire all of una. I am not pleased with what Tinubu has done so far, but I would still prefer an Atiku to that scam of a man. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Nice one ekiti. I guess much of the igr comes from afe babalola university. That university is another FDI on his own. Very huge!!! If all ekiti professionals invested in ekiti state,it will be competing with Lagos or ogun economically. Hardly Wil u see an ekiti man that's not a graduate or educated. Even the ones in remote hinterlands like omuo ekiti and aramoko ekiti. 6 Likes 1 Share |

yoruboid: You know why I laugh at you. The definition of IGR is revenue generated from taxes and government levies. If a state with a low GDP and per capita income suddenly has a high IGR growth rate, it mean the people are being overtaxed and businesses are suffering. It begs the question what is the impact of the so called IGR? 5 Likes 3 Shares |
