No amount of disciplinary training can match the volume of negative contents they get hit by while on the open internet.

I never allowed my daughter access to any kind of mobile phone till she graduated. She came home with a very good SSCE result yesterday with 6 A1 including mathematics, English and chemistry while the rest is B3 after she had effortlessly passed her jamb
Now she can use any phone of her choice

Gone are the days when there were students who spent days and nights studying assiduously before an exam........I remembered how many times I visited my town library prior to my preparation for waec..............These days,the advent of social media don finally kill the zeal of hardwork in students..........Go to TikTok, you'll weep for the kind of damage social media is doing on the present and next generation....Not only our educational system,but the entirety of our society is fast decaying and people now seem to find joy in it...

In discipline and character modeling, there's no wrong in trying multiple methods and everyone has his/her part to play. It's a method which I think, even if it doesn't work on all of them. It will definitely be effective on some. So it's a good one
