Tracka, BudgIt’s public expenditure tracking platform, has exposed significant discrepancies in the Ogwumabiri Road project funded with N34.7 million.

The project, initially listed as a 5 km road in Umunneochi LGA, Abia State, was actually a 500-meter stretch constructed in Ugwamabiri, a village in the Obinolu community.

Tracka in its official sjcskhandle said although the road was completed and asphalted early last year.

It also added that the road is already deteriorating.

Despite the large sum allocated, the road is showing signs of poor quality and premature damage,” Tracka stated.

The platform has called on the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) to provide a detailed report on the project and to ensure the contractor returns to rectify the substandard work.

“However, we observed that the road was already washing off at the time of our visit

Every Nigerian has a right to comment on whatever happens across the country. The earlier you get used to it, the better for you.

Nobody stops you from talking about ills happening in Abia State. In fact, talking about it compels the government to act.

That road is still under construction. All these thièfnubu's chihuahuas are naturally useless to humanity....

Go to Ogun state and see the condition of roads in that state and you will regret ever coming from that part of Nigeria.

These monkeys are fixated on Alex Otti whereas governor Abiodun of Ogun state is completely inhumane to the plight of his people.

Don't mind them. Some people just want to post nonsense to get attention for no reason. That clearly shows where they last stopped working on the road and did not wear off. They will continue when they are ready to work on the read!

And for some of you here, every little thing you bring tribal remarks shows you Nigerians are more hypocritical among yourself. What do Lagos and Peter Obi have to do with the topic? It shows that Nigerians will never progress and achieve anything, even in the next 100 years. The hate among Nigerians due to different backgrounds is too much.

They always concentrate their attentions on Lagos whereas their region is eyesore. They only talk bad about Lagos whereas that's their main destination cos their region is not tolerable. I know many of them will avoid this thread like leprosy. The only state being managed by Obidients is not even a place to be. Too bad indeed.
