GreenxGreen: And to even think a govt agency can 'dash' huge sum like this to another govt agency that has its budget approved by the national assembly is worrisome.. This shows that tinubu's appointees are just doing as they like with little or no oversight from him been the president 16 Likes 1 Share |

Here we go again! This is reminiscent of the way SLS went about donating CBN money to (mainly Northern) universities. I will say what I said then: No statutory body has a CSR remit: you have no power to donate anything especially money. ALL monies ought to go to the Federation Account and can only be disbursed upon appropriation! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Many are simply educated illiterates! They can't even hide their bias any longer! EFCC has been retrieving funds from many sources... They'll say they are chopping it. They decided to use it to fund our education! They still say it will be chopped! We are terrible masses! 3 Likes 1 Share |

EFCC, a supposed anti-graft agency, is now engaging in donating recovered looted funds. Does the law allow such an agency to be donating recovered looted funds that are supposed to be in the coffers of the federal government? When a country is ruled by a notorious narcotics drug trafficker, certificate forger, buccaneering power grabber engaging in criminal state capture, this is what one should be expecting. There are tendencies that adherence to the rule of law will be an anathema. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This idea is good. But in my opinion government should have used it to fund our college of medicine instead of sending the money to the schools FG should take stocks of what is of immediate importance to those teaching hospitals and used the recovered funds in purchasing it and installing it for each school. They should also set up a team that will go around those schools yearly to inspect the states and usage of those equipments/facilities. Infact this yearly audit should be mandatory and should be passed into law such that if in the future it appears that an auditor didn't do his/her job well the auditor can be prosecuted as well. |
