Instead for people to go out and genuinely protest for something like this, selfish political elites from the north turned it to regime change, hence render the genuine protest ineffective.

This is what the protest should have been about if not for misplaced priority and sinister motive. If the protest was organized to reduce the cost of governance and was organized in such a way to ask for facts and figures, it would have achieved a lot. But the organizers and the zombie followers have no clue that they are been used and dumped for selfish parochial interests.

Until we unite as a true Nigerian without any attachments to tribe or religion, our leaders will continue to use us to play. The best protest should be no more salary and allowance for our law makers. No more travelling abroad for medical purposes.Their children must attend our public schools. All politicians must be made to receive salary like the common civil servants. This politicians have succeeded in dividing us along religion and tribal lines.Non of them care about us,even those in pdp and LP.

With time something will be done.A police officer will go home with 3m after 35yrs of hazardous services, the same with the military and paramilitary and someone is collecting about 21m a month for doing nothing.Teachers are not paid properly.

The truth must be told.
Nigeria has enough money to go round, but the question is, why can't our political leaders allow the money to go round.
May God save us.

No Senator in Nigeria collect less than 50m and HoR doesn't receive less than 30m.

I don't know why the lazy journalists in Nigeria can't conduct simple research and give Nigerians accurate figure All these speculation is what is emboldened the legislators to milk the country dry

How will Nigeria 🇳🇬 be better when the Nigeria lawmakers are earning much than their wages. The rich became much richer and the poor continues to remain much poorer. It’s very unfortunate situation in Nigeria 🇳🇬

If it is N1 million as RMFAC said, total would have been N1m times 99 non principal officers = N99million. N2 billing divided by 99 is N20.2 million. Unless my maths is not good again. grin grin grin grin grin cry cry
it means that the man that said his salary and allowance is 21m is right
