emmanuelewumi: I've always said it times without numbers that my only fears about Oando is Wale and that's why I will consider it as a GAMBLE... A lot don't like it when I say so and that's why during the fights/noise I just kept mute... Let's learn to engage positively and constructively like MIKE always does... If I notice another attacks on anyone about Oando I will just ignore things and face my front as expected afterall if you are buying Oando you definitely know you are either gambling your funds or buying hope... But for Wale to have changed his style na only Mr Time go answer the question Wale is a trained LAWYER... All the lawyers I know hardly change You see WALE, JEGEDE and OTEDOLA be extremely careful when dealing with those guys and anything connected to them especially those of you shouting long-term 7 Likes |

KarlTom:What matter most for OANDO for now, is to find support above 30/32.. Once this is established, then it will be good to go (up) any moment there's good news again. Oga Emma has done excellently well, BUT, he still needs to consider the subjective aspects of this trading...... Everything can't be 100% objective......we have Traders also in the market, not only investors, and Traders creates more liquidity far more than investors. 7 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: The best way to do analysis is to combine technical, fundamental analysis with sector or industry developments, and impact on future earnings. So many things could happen within a year before the next financial results are released. There is also analysis of valuation based on ''future or potential earnings'' in investments. Kindly use whatever you prefer. We will be here by the grace of God when Oando release full year 2024 and mid year 2025 results. All our eyes go clear very well by that time! |

They cannot stop me from making my opinion on any stock here whether positive or negative irrespective if I have the stock or not.As long as the decision to buy hold or sell is your business 7 Likes |

SonofElElyonRet: Ask we that bought the public offer back then... I had to buy many years later at 0.20k... Thanks to God I finally got fresh air because of that decision... If you are dining with Jegede eh... Wale seems na lil saint where JEGEDE dey although if Wale wan deal with you eh E dey be brutal |

mikeapollo: Investors have varying perspectives on which stocks to buy or sell. I remain bullish on OANDO. Given its substantial oil production surpassing Seplat, larger power generation capacity compared to Geregu, and significant natural gas reserves (10-15%), its current valuation seems undervalued. Even if 2024 financials are subpar, the company's growth trajectory is undeniable. OANDO's recent statement encouraging local companies to lead the energy sector reinforces my optimistic outlook. https://www.thecable.ng/oando-indigenous-firms-must-step-up-to-drive-growth-in-nigerias-energy-industry/ 3 Likes |

megawealth01: Truly, it wasn't funny those years. I also bought then. The crash was great, first to around #1, then it went to that 0.2k and stayed for many years. Wale na “deep sea”, Jegede na “the devil”, if you are caught between the two, just look up to God. 3 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi: I like your openness Oga Emma. The 'school fees' you paid then, has made you a 'Prof' today. We all have paid (or will pay) school fees as far as the stock market is concerned. That's how we get the experience to eventually learn how to stop paying avoidable 'school fees'. Thanks for your robust contributions and thanks to all others as well for the civilized discourse. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Alagbalaowo: I have a friend that's currently laughing those rushing Oando now... He is currently based in Switzerland... Few years ago during the COCOPHILIPS era I was using Oando as gamble which is usually my style... Back then in NAIJA we reside in the same area... I bought Oando averagely at 11+ and was selling between 30-33... I sold the last batch at 33 or so... I left little anyways which is my usual style in any stock I don't really want to invest in but... This my friend carried Oando matter for head that year sha... He said I know nothing about investment bla bla... He said very soon the $1.5b investment in COCOPHILIPS will start yielding results... I told him the little I have should continue oooooo He left his with the hope of whatever price he has in mind... When Oando got to 36+ or so wahala come start oooooo until it went so low that people were even picking it #4 oooooo... What a surprise right? As una dey buy hope dey use sense dey trade with Wale and his likes... Cash is KING 12 Likes |

KarlTom: These are the import cabals giving DR serious resistance. Instead of NNPCL to deal directly with established foreign refineries they deal through these Nigerian companies so the money will go round. |

brotherly: I concur 100%. In fact, Oando's power plant is 930MW, more than double that of Geregu (435MW). Yet, Geregu is selling at N1,000 on NGX (I understand the issue of outstanding shares, earnings and dividend per share etc. may be different) Add that to its higher oil reserves compared to Seplat, plus its leading role in Renewables etc. 3 Likes |

megawealth01: So disheartening. If there is anything I've learned in this market ehn, it is to never be emotionally attached to any stock. In one way or the other, many of us have paid “school fees” and had learned. My people say ‘any person wey don go war before no dey call himself man” 2 Likes |

Breaking news OANDO do cast I was expecting the casting to revise by Monday but it looks it changed its mind I decided to stop today. The market has the mind of its own. This does not mean it will never cast again in the future .To buy hold or sell is your business OANDO don cast. OANDO and fundamentals are far apart |

Alagbalaowo: The guy mouth sweet pass dat of Pastors. The marketing of the offer was too much, the company won NGX award back to back. I thought the N2 million would grow to N20 million within maximum of 4 years. Unfortunately when I sold the N2 million turned to roughly 500k. 5 Likes |

Na for this Naija a bank becane bankrupt and was liquidated by CBN. Depositors lost their funds and investors lost their investments but the promoters of the failed bank later floated another bank. Be very careful when swimming with the sharks, especially investing in highly indebted companies whose promoters are well connected. Insiders and retail investors are playing different games even though you are on the same pitch with them 12 Likes |

megawealth01: What will say of DANGOTE flour that went to #1 and still later sold for #24? Please what made seplat sell for #300 and today #3000? What about FBN that moved to #3 from #70? What about FO that touched #300 then back to #15? If that is the case, then all the CEOs and all companies are indicted. because all the companies had one time or the other moved from dangerously high price to very low price. Please whom do you arrest? I saw where almost everyone including oga Agba was shouting Wale and cowboys for UACN at #4 except OGG that stood his ground and today UACN is #16 with all the benefits that accrued through it in the past. Please is Wale and cowboys no longer alive to kill UACN? 2 Likes 1 Share |
