Identities of Medical, Dental students Kidnapped in Benue by MasterJayJay: 1:39pm On Aug 16

Identities of the 20 medical and dental students and a House Officer kidnapped by gunmen in Benue State have been disclosed.

Their identities were made known by an X user SportsDokita (Odogwu) @Sports_Doctor2.

DAILY POST reported that the students were en route to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) annual convention in Enugu.

The students, said to be from the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos, were travelling together when they were ambushed by gunmen around 5:30pm in the Otukpo area of the state.

The State police command which confirmed the incident, said investigation it had launched investigation into the abduction.

There names are:

Get these student undergraduates rescued immediately. Leave legislation to stop medical healthcare workers from leaving Nigeria due to the widespread deteriorating insecurity as this ugly case.

I think the we live with some animals which they classified themselves as human or Nigerians , when last did u hear.kidnap in overseases 🤔
NOTE it's not Abt security issues but it's about how they think and reason to solve problems of humanities in terms of tech , medicine etc but here in Nigeria people will he thinking of how to kill, do blood money and the likes ..

Till Jesus come if we didn't change mentality the government cannot stop all this because u can't expect government to build police station in all the busses and all rural environs all in the name of security 😢😭😭

It's really an unfortunate situation we are in. Up till now, presidency hasn't reacted to the situation. Of course, it's because it happened in the north. If it had happened in the Southwest, attempts to rescue them would have been in top gear.
