Sometimes, what we really want as information can't be expressed much by Google but AI will answer your question the human way which is the best rather than dropping links of numerous websites

The AI is trained in natural language.
Unfortunately for many, natural language means English.
This is a cat. This is a mouse..
Once you start using slangs, bad spellings, pidgin English, the AI will lose your meaning or interprete a different meaning.
All the answers it gets are already on the Internet. It just presents the most relevant summary in a proper English back to you. So it is not inventing anything new.

I shake my head every other day and pity Nigerian students. A majority of them can no longer write a simple assignment on their own due to their over reliance on AI. They also do not bother to edit or proofread same. Just GIGO

If you don't know how to use it, learn it, it makes a big difference in the quality of output AI can give you.

This doesn't mean it won't hallucinate, but it will reduce the frequency to a very minimal level.

AI is helpful but the disadvantages may soon outweigh the advantages. Most students don't even bother doing assignments and writing papers on their own - AI to the rescue! Many projects and term papers are now written with AI. AI may rob future generations of their ability to think critically and intelligently. It's already happening.
