Oando analysts here are fair weather analysts.. excluding mercy and bagwa.. others are "obey the wind".. if your case is different you can signify or forever remain silent

That means the fair weather analysts of Oando include the OP himself?

Another question just crossed my mind on this oando matter .why is agip leaving if those oil wells are full of real wonderful dollar value. I hope they have not bought another expensive shell like in the first deal oh.I hope the management shine eyes well in this second oil company buy.As per power company attached that wan na super story.

Any expert in that field what do you think on agip oil wells performance .Make e no be say dey don go buy beautiful nonsense again...lol

If you have been following up on the sectoral investment in the country, you would notice that the O&G sector has had almost a zero investment from FDIs. Invariably, multinationals are swinging heavily into renewable energies. It will be a fools charade(for Nigetia) to start chasing industrialisation with renewable energies when we know we must forge our own development on existing realities(black gold).

The security has also hampered onshore investment for most multinationals. Hence, the seemly activiness of security apparatus on bunkering of late(because the local hawks are now in for onshore operations) while the multinationals head out to the deep waters(offshore)

They did not just sell their shares in building. Femi Otedol (AP) was fighting Oando over the property.
But what do you say now about the new Oando building on Ozumba Mbadiwe?

The property was sold to release cash and enhance liquidity, reason why I respect his ingenuity.

Just like someone who sold his apartment for N20 million, then invested the fund in fixed income to get N4 million per annum. Whereas his rent N1 million per annum.

Then used the fixed income investment as a collateral for a loan of N12 million in order to harness other money making opportunities. Was lucky to turn the loan to N40 million within 30 months

Actually sold my late grandma's house in January 2023.

I used my share to buy Nahco, United Capital, Dangote Sugar and Presco after rigourous research and analysis.

After buying those stocks, I then used them as collateral security which I used to buy dollar at less than N700 which was invested in United Capital Eurobond fund

I have grown my fund more than 250% within 20 months

grin but last last everyone is a fair weather cuz nobody here prophesied or trumpeted for OANDO two years ago or four years ago. All these John the Baptist came after the fog started clearing small small, including you yourself grin.

There are usually fore runners who would pick up before others once it is dawn that doesn't mean that they woke before others. John the Baptist was the lonely voice in the wilderness even though Christ has the spirit more than him grin.

OGG was the first person that sighted NAHCO with his telescope but Current price was the person that announced the appropriate time for departure grin

I have a friend that's currently laughing those rushing Oando now... He is currently based in Switzerland...

Few years ago during the COCOPHILIPS era I was using Oando as gamble which is usually my style... Back then in NAIJA we reside in the same area... I bought Oando averagely at 11+ and was selling between 30-33... I sold the last batch at 33 or so... I left little anyways which is my usual style in any stock I don't really want to invest in but... This my friend carried Oando matter for head that year sha... He said I know nothing about investment bla bla... He said very soon the $1.5b investment in COCOPHILIPS will start yielding results... I told him the little I have should continue oooooo

He left his with the hope of whatever price he has in mind... When Oando got to 36+ or so wahala come start oooooo until it went so low that people were even picking it #4 oooooo...

What a surprise right?

As una dey buy hope dey use sense dey trade with Wale and his likes...

Cash is KING
This acquisition will be different because the joint venture will be between Oando and NNPC.

Besides, Naoc was the operator of the assets and were no longer investing in the business.

A yahoo boy in my area though be was smart. He was smart Sha compared to his mates.

He made money during the lockdown of 2020, so he bought a block of 4 units of 2 bedroom flats for N80 million. Total rental income was N3 million.

Nahco sold for N2.50k in 2020. N80 million would have bought 32 million units, plus the 1 for 5 bonus it would have grown to about 38 million units

It is very easy to identify mispriced assets in the stock market, not easy in real estate because most are appropriately priced or overpriced

I have been in Oando for long, but decided to come and read about people's opinions here especially during the adjournments of the court case.
I have consistently believed in Oando's prospects, but people like ProphetUtuocha, especially made me believe more strongly because he seems to know much about what is happening in Oando. With the ENI deal sealed, and with the kind of resources and assets that Oando commands, I don't entertain much fears.
I can only wait until they release mid year 2025 results (about a year from now latest), then I will start to know my real level. My focus is long term but I know what I am targeting to make from Oando.
It is those who are running after short term gains that are doing the fair weather party!

Wow! Much respect Oga Mike on keeping faith that long o. One things that has always crossed my mind during this whole balablu on Oando is what will we now say about all those babas like Otunba Ojora and his mates wey don dey Oando since the days of UniPetrol PLC and Nigerian AGIP PLC.

This must be their time of redemption to gain back all they lost and present an opportunity for the new cats to buy out their shares. For them , that opportunity shows that even a bad clock that has stopped working will be correct twice in a day.

Otunba Ojora don comot from Oando teytey. If you remember Ojora and Asalu took Wale to the court. They were not happy with the process that made Wale and co became the buyer of FGN shares.

When they lost in the court. Asalu advised his followers to sell their shares in the company but I refused and I paid dearly for it

I understand but also know that a journey of thousand miles begins with one step as they say. NAHCO started from somewhere and current price sounded the alarm as records show here. I have read all the pages here from page one to present and it took me two months. I saw a lot of transitions, agreements and disagreements. Even when Pa Emma spoke strongly against bua cement in favors of wapco many months ago but today Bua is still ahead of Wapco even after many years. So I understand. Unity Bank is negative but just wait for the suspension to be lifted and you will see plenty full bids

You want to compare NAHCO with oando.
I can't see any similarity.
Yes money can be made in any stock, but I think oando should be compared to the like of japaul and co.

Investment is a marathon, you look at the business performance over a period of 3 years and above.

Speculation is for few weeks to months
