I can confirm that what he is saying is correct. I am opening an account with them at the end of this month. You get a Naira card that you can use to shop online. Just as it was in the good old days. You will need to open the account with an opening balance of N100,000 though. T
o hell with these rogue virtual card providers! I flashed my phone recently and lost all data between March and August because Payday/Changera have withheld my $$$ for months. I could not pay my 200GB iCloud storage plan.

I was using Eversend initially and the charge was always around 1690, someone told me about Providus card and gave me a contact.

I chatted the person up and he asked for the normal docs required for opening account in Nigeria.

I was charged 5k for they card.
You must make a 100k deposit that you can withdraw anytime.

The card was delivered to me via DHL

It was from the 100k that they deducted their 5k charge for the card.

I have used it twice this week and the rates is fair.

Why stress yourself when you can get provudus bank card that does all that with your normal regular atm card? Not dollar card ohh. Regular naira mastercard that debits your regular naira bank account. I pay online, use it abroad etc.

It works on all platforms and places. Also not in my location, the closest branch to me is at Allen. I have only been there once to activate my patinuim card delivered by mail. I think the regular card my kids use has a limit of either 300 or $700 monthly limit for only online payments. But my platinuim card has both online and external use (if I remember right) with $3000 monthly limit. Free access to executive lounge at mm1, mm2 and others, discount on others abroad.

Their card service is reliable, but their rate is highest in the market.
Geegpay is a better alternative. Their rate is lower and they're also reliable. Though their app dey jonse sometimes, but no panic.
