You'll start seeing a lot of dick measuring contestants here. The real people who are making 10M + per month don't need to shout. BTW, if you're earning 150k per month, go and up your skills. 6 Likes |

abbey621:The mistakes OP made are: not mentioning the grade of employment - experienced hire or entry-level; industry/field and state of residence. Even in the US and UK, salaries across fields and regions differ. The major difference between Nigeria and the US especially is the latter churns out jobs pretty regularly. Although some industries have had a lull in employment and inflation has devalued salaries. Everywhere toff! 2 Likes 1 Share |

remi4ever: Location matters as well. ₦300k in VGC or Asokoro might be equivalent to ₦800k in the village. If your job is remote I see reason why one wouldn't relocate to a town where things are quite cheap. At the end of the day, it boils down to how much you can save after deducting comfortable expenses. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kaczynski: Na lie....I am a living testimony...just gather 4-5 years core experience in an area, don't follow crowd (most persons are data analyst these days but there are some roles that pay higher), sell yourself, hunt big(apply to bigger companies, don't underrate yourself, na people dey work there)....you will be highly sort after. In Lagos, a poor man can secure a very good mouth watering job. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Absolutely Try getting a relevant skill after research and apply for a job that’s remote from abroad Try banking, you can still get in without a godfather if you meet age and qualification requirements If you have a rich family member that can move their money to any bank for your sake, you can approach a bank to get a marketing job if the deposit is substantial Try NGOs they pay well too Start an NGO yourself and apply for funding from abroad. Do exactly what you say you will do to help society and pay yourself a good salary legally out of it Start a YouTube page and drive towards monetization. Just $100 per month in advert revenue and merchandise sale is equal to 160k naira Start farming. Still pays alot Rear goats and chickens In the middle of the scarcity in Nigeria, there are people doing very very well. Infact anytime the naira devalues their naira income increases 9 Likes 1 Share |
