YoungDaNaval:Don't mind them. 1.5m per month is nothing. Sometimes, public transport takes about ₦800k per month sef. A bottle of water 🍶now costs ₦50,000 and a good food now goes for ₦120k per plate 🍽. Kingzjayzee: Akalia:MODIFIED: It's funny how so many Nairalanders will so glaringly see a sarcastic post and can't decipher that it's a sarcasm. In fact, it's not funny; it's actually sad. That's not my problem; me I'll continue to use sarcasm anytime I deem it fit. 12 Likes |

RenaissanceGuy:Please don't be like this; don't say 1.5m per month salary isn't a big deal. People like me that earn a little over 200k(paltry sum in today's economy) could actually attain a sense of financial stability on a salary of 1.5m. I am praying, upskilling, and actively seeking such opportunities to earn up to 1m and above. By the way I work in a food and beverage production multinational. 2 Likes 1 Share |

High paying job and you said from #150k in today's Nigeria? Well most jobs gotten now is through paddy paddy or using back door. Best is to be self employed and learn to earn online legitimately. Expired domain flipping is one of them. You can buy a domain for less than $10 and resell above $300. Personally, I've done this severally with proofs. Not a hearsay as I currently do this for a living. Check one of my sales below. Google how to make money with expired domain names or visit this awareness thread to get started.; https://www.nairaland.com/4519087/how-rich-selling-expired-domain Peace. 10 Likes 2 Shares

There is money also in sales, everything is not about connection in this country just have the potential. I have worked in many companies without connection although I specialize in sales. Infact I bought my first car by closing just one deal. Just walk in to any company that specialize in what you know how to do best and tell them your success with proof. 5 Likes |

You can still get a job as high as 1 million plus a month depending on your professional background and experience. 150k is a very poor salary even 200k is nothing for a graduate in our economy of today. 3 Likes |

We like to fool ourselves a lot. If we are to lay out all salary levels in Nigeria today, up to 80% would still be earning less than #150k yet some people are saying #400k is average salary. Where you wan see am? This same naija where people with over 10 years experience are earning #250 - #300k with overwork. Banks and the big 4 can only hire so many. If you earn above #150k, consider yourself earning well. The rest are just lucky to be in the right field and right company at the right time. 12 Likes 2 Shares |
