Still better than 100k salary
When you want higher expenses become higher for instance you earning 100k you obviously would either be sharing a room with your uncle or girlfriend, once you start earning 500k, you wouldn't want to share anything with your friends or uncle, you would probably want to move to your own apartment obviously a room and parlor self contained, you wouldn't want to jump buses, you will want to get your own ride (fuelling and repairs), your taste for women, clothes and shoes would obviously change. High paying Job or pay is not Subjective. It is very much Objective. Standard metrics exist that define out human experience define it clearly.
Within the Nigerian context, high paying is not Subjective. Averagely speaking, there is an Objective point we can can call high paying or higher paying... From there onwards

You're caapping! I've specifically highlighted the different viewpoints, kindly read again. No such thing as averagely speaking! If you doubt that then can you please give me a figure that you consider high salary?

The mistakes OP made are: not mentioning the grade of employment - experienced hire or entry-level; industry/field and state of residence. Even in the US and UK, salaries across fields and regions differ. The major difference between Nigeria and the US especially is the latter churns out jobs pretty regularly. Although some industries have had a lull in employment and inflation has devalued salaries.

Everywhere toff!

I agree to an extent, the USA also has high underemployment rate or even unemployment rate outside of the bullshit figures the government puts out. In the real world, people are going 6 months to over a year before getting another job after being fired or quitting. The problem with Nigeria is not enough companies and not enough innovation.

The USA had to go through a period of great depression which forced it to change the way people lived and earned. The private sector went through a complete rebuild and about over 10 government policies came into effect. During that time people hardly ate twice a day and basic things were considered luxury. If Nigeria is to develop and truly change, the government must rid itself of hardcore corruption and the people must change their mindset!

Some of You receiving over #100k don't know what God has done in your life, I am a graduate and I am receiving 25k monthly at one school I teaches in Kaduna State.

I am curious, why earn N25k per month as a graduate? Why do you have to accept that? Is that what you are worth?

I started making 1.2m in a month from foreign surveys this year. Don't regret going to university grin grin grin. Now saving to japa through school route. Some people might say it's a lie , but if you know the format and tricks na sure cashout steady.
