Government is messed up, yes. But let's not make it seem everything is Tinubu.

Like you rightly said, under government ownership, the refinery will never work. The only reason NLNG is because it is not run by Government.
Under private ownership, the refinery will work.

What is the way forward:

SELL THE REFINERY TO PRIVATE OPERATORS UNDER A TRANSPARENT BIDDING PROCESS

since May 29, 2023, when has tinubu done anything transparent?

has tinubu ever done anything transparent?

does tinubu care about transparency and due process?

the so called coastal road, what was the "transparent bidding process" that was used to award the contract and to commence the construction?

tinubu just used $500m to acquire an Airbus A380, the largest passenger plane in the world in France (one of the planes seized) despite telling Nigerians to make sacrifices.

what transparent process was adhered to budget wise and in other process before the plane was acquired?

It is Stated in Law ' he that comes to equity must come with clean hands ' but is Govt and it Agent NNPC truthful? Are they not just deceiving NIGERIANS on the Fuel for Nigerians,as the NNPC have shifted grounds on the Functionality of the Port-Hacouth and Other Refineries in Nigeria!
• Here is a Refinery- whose Oil have been Sold upfront by Buhari regime!
• they have Comfortability with the Corruption in virtually all the Govt institutions in Nigeria- e g DISCOS,NNPC, Poverty Alieviation Ministry Agency,etc.
• They are playing Script - with Dangote On-:
-what Price should he fix that will exposed them?
- when will Malta matter be resolved ( funny - here is a Very Small Country - not up to Shomolu &Bariga ) yet being owned by Nigerians,to refines Fuel for Nigerians- abroad,with our own FOREX? Why Punishing us,for God giving Natural Resources?
- how would it ends - if Dangote- a Private Sector,started dictating the Price of Fuel and Crude to the Nigerians?
- Same with the Steel-Manufacturing in Kogi,as some Cabals are not Comfortable with Kogi Producing Iron for Nigerians 200-Million People !
•If President Tinubu- got the - Fuel Productions and the Steel Productions Right,he would have Reversed the Nigerian 30- years of Leadership-Deficit Right and Nigerians will applause him, because of Multi - Millions Jobs- Employments Prospect all over Nigeria.

For Nigeria to continue to import fuel for local consumption beyond 2024 is downright shameful and disrespectful to the sensibility of over 200 million Nigerians.

Protest will not change nor move any government in Nigeria ,except a weak president like gej.
The best way to protest in Nigeria is to vote out a bad party and show them that they can only retain power if they perform ,but will this happen in Nigeria ? Definitely NO WAY

That subsidy payment is what is oiling the political machinery of all politicians and political parties . Even the military high hierarchy, for you to realise how powerful they are . See how massively they were able to sponsor the protest against subsidy removal then during the time gej and lease.lets ask ourselves who was the ring leader of that protest and the major coordinator?? You guess right ,the person is no other that PRESIDENT TINUBU. The way and manner gej removed the subsidy caught all of them unaware and by surprise . Nigeria won't stop fuel importation for a long long time , the worst that will happen to Dangote is that he will be selling his products abroad but Naija market forget it

Which NNPC will sell locally refined petrol ? Even to sell crude oil they can't. Tinubu will eventually sell those refineries to his friends . They are only trying to make it look as if they have tried their best . Those refineries will be sold ,they are only bidding their time .
When atiku said it that he will sell them ,dumb Nigerians started shouting ,Tinubu knowing how dumb Nigerians are quickly cashed in on it and Tod them he will make it work ,now has it started working ? Those refineries won't work ,it will be sold as total scrap and the worst Nigerians will do will be to rant online .

Nobody wants to buy it. Such project can never be handled successfully and Dangote needs to come online and within 2 to 4 years the government refineries need to be sold off or wind down.

Trying to get NNPC with its institutionalised corruption to function as a profit making company and at the same time as a govt service corporation is the height of madness.

Nothing has been done to revatilze those refineries.

Best thing is to ensure state governors in the state's these money pits are located revoke their land lease and demolish it citing them as a public and serenity hazard.

It will never be transparent bidding process. He just awarded $11 billion no bidding contract for the Lagos-Calabar road to his Lebanese business partner that helped Abacha launder billions of dollars.
