The thing even shock me when I saw it now.

Some Resident fans were saying he'll start for Brighton after he scored in their preseason and we're taking digs at Arteta.

Now same Brighton didn't even see him as a squad player in their team. It's so sad

Loaning him out does not mean they don’t rate him. Brighton have a very good development program. Much better than most clubs in England.

He is still 19 and is playing in the one position where Brighton are loaded. They are loaning him out to give him minutes as part of his development, rather than leaving him to rot on the bench. What he needs now at 19-20 is regular senior minutes.

I remember after we lost out to them for Caicedo’s signature and some United fans were lamenting, other United fans started mocking those ones when Brighton loaned him out to the Belgian league of all places (thinking that meant he was not good).
Only for Brighton to sell him for 100m pounds 18 months later.

Was just surprised because this is the same route Arsenal wanted him to take but he disagreed and everyone blamed not just Arteta but the whole management team(I myself inclusive). Now Brighton have just done the same with him, and someone is giving excuse that Brighton have a lot of players for his position as if Arsenal don't have other options to choose ahead of him too. If one choose to constantly see 6 as six alone forgetting that it can also be 9 from another view point, then I have no business engaging such person. After all what do I know, I'm just a stoner who loves Arsenal more than any individual in the team.

I think he would have stayed. If Ethan and Myles could still be with the squad till now, Dubbery would not be loaned out. The three of them were given the same path. Dubbery opted not to sign a contract and chose to leave.

So it's OK for Brighton to loan him but Arteta doesn't give youth a chance.

So Duberry is no longer Yamal's mate again?

This is common sense
Arteta have no interest in them until they were leaving
More over I have said it countless times I don’t have problem in they leaving but we should be making profit

How this is not a red card is still a mystery to me

Honestly, Arsenal needs to file a complaint to the FA.

I saw the video yesterday and was shocked that he did not get Atleast a booking.

Nothing anybody want tell me, it was deliberate and wrong on all shades.

Arsenal may get fined if they even made a slight attempt to file a complaint.

No. Not in this case.

We would win it, hands down.

Even if it did not happen to any Arsenal player, I will still recommend such route to be taken.

Even some Man U fan on twitter were complaining about the situation.

That was an offense worth booking, no Ifs, no Buts.

I guess the win we had made the situation less intense and dramatic.

My brother, exactly the same route oo. Exactly same issues he had at Arsenal is what is seeing at Brighton now. Exactly same thing he criticized Arteta for but suddenly it's not about us giving duberry a chance but Brighton selling him in future for money.

Lol... It's just funny

I remembered before Nwaneri signed contract was it beginning of last season, clubs were circulating over his signature not to sign for us and all but he still stuck around signed. Same thing with Chido Obi, this one didn't.

Let's pretend that las las, it doesn't comes down to these players, their parents and their agents but let's all blame Arteta.

Like you said, duberry might have seen squad shirt this season like dem Nwaneri or perhaps next season (pending if he does well on loan).

You are exaggerating this situation and allowing your emotions get the best of you in analyzing it. This season, there is a conscious effort (I posted several articles during the offseason) from the leadership is changing how things are done at the academy especially when it comes to player sales and transition to the first team.

Wish these kids well and stop pretending like Arteta has been the greatest at giving young academy players opportunities.

Just my thoughts, more than welcome to overlook.

Of all the 111 players Chelsea has so Enzo Maresca couldn’t pick a winning 11? 🤔

You people will really suffer this season

Arteta have his fault into transitioning this kids to first team and that has been the debate here in this thread for seasons. I'm not pretending he's giving the academy players opportunities and I'm not denying I'm one of those defended Arteta for such

But Let's stop claiming that the other issue of contention in this thread is cashing out on these kids as if any one of us here opposed to it from onset.

This is something that you guys just raised up and hammered on it, if I'm not mistaken, post season, so let you guys stop dragging us who defended Arteta for not transitioning this kids into the team now means that we're against cashing out on these kids when the opportunity arises.

As for wishing the kids well, I wish them well always but not against Arsenal.

It's a simple sturv boss..

See ehn, you would have been 100% correct if Arteta is the opposite of what you are arguing. If in 5 years, he transitioned academy players and they failed, then you would be absolutely right in your takes.

But that isn’t the case, if anything this is the first time in 5 years that there is a ray of hope that one or maybe 2 have a chance this season and it is because ownership stepped in to change the direction.

Spend more time wishing these kids well, not hoping they fail so you can be right about Arteta not transitioning them. Their careers are bigger than any issue I have with Arteta.

Geezzz... Come on boss. You still don't get it?

You think all these my talk today is about hating or not wishing well to some kids I barely watch?
You think all these talk or trolling today is because I don't wish Duberry well and I want him to fail?
What for, when I have arsenal on my plate to look forward to?

The only reason I'm even bringing up this matter is because you guys (esp oyindamola) is making it seem as if we're against arsenal making money off these kids hence want to use Brighton cashing out on him later(if need be) to troll us, just like the way Chelsea did with Omari.

The only reason Germ.aphobe brought that news is that most of us all thought that he's ripe enough (as well as him I believe) to start play In a PL side, so we were surprised seeing him being loaned to another championship club. Something we believe we want to do here too. No more, no less.

What concerns us with hating on a kid or not wishing him well?

Haaa!!

How can we be hoping for a kid to fail when no one literally drops a post about Chido not scoring against arsenal nor Man u not winning Arsenal?

The one who even dropped the post about Chido knows the side he's on and na out of abundance of his heart his hands typeth.

Same person that wants Chelsea to sooo flog arsenal and let Omari be at the center of it because of Arteta. Same arsenal he claims to support.

It's all good Sha
