Prophetkelly:I don't want to laugh, but you're right. It's just like a teenage girl who just discovered how sweet sxx is. If she can't get a man (someone she'll put in trouble later in life), she does it herself. And before you know it, she's addicted to solo play. Same with the other gender. There is a system I came up with back then called the Cascading Effect just to feed the spirit. After 10 loses, the 11th one is always a banger. The thing is, if you've made up your mind that you want to lose your first 10 trades, you've automatically removed desperation. A politician called Ubah is late, but if you can bring him back to life to spend 40 more years in exchange for 80% of his wealth, he would accept. This means life is better than money. Imagine the market dumped to 52k and you entered a trade of $3 and your liquidation is 48.9k and you have 20 more trades to enter. Would you want the market to go to 48.9k or would you want it to pump? I know you'd want it to go down because your cascading is getting bigger as it dumps. This is being overprepared with a very tiny risk. If the coin stubbornly refuses to liquidate you by going to 48.9k, but keeps pumping to 97k, you'll end up turning $3 to more than a thousand Dollar. It's a win win. At this point, you could switch to shorting cascading. The problem most futures traders have is taking big risks at once and then scream "You only live once." Lol. My brother, you're hurting yourself, ajeh! Risks should be split into chunks. Keep that $100k or 1 million Dollar somewhere else and use only $1530 to catch fun first, but most won't do it because it looks too small and they're too big for small trades. The moment you have the belief you're going to make it in this life, remove desperation and put patience and strategy and you'll get there faster. 16 Likes 4 Shares

What is #MVRV Ratio ? The #MVRV (Market Value to Realized Value) score is a metric used to assess the #valuation of a cryptocurrency by comparing its market value to its realized value. The #MVRV score helps to gauge whether a cryptocurrency is overvalued or undervalued based on its #historical price movement. The market value of a #cryptocurrency refers to its current price multiplied by the total supply of #coins in circulation. On the other hand, the realized value takes into account the price at which each coin last moved on the #blockchain, essentially measuring the average price at which investors acquired their holdings. So what does that Indicate ? #MVRV Values > 3.5 has generally served as a strong signal for late stage #bull cycles, and heightened probability of heavy #distribution or simple indicate a potential Market Top. #MVRV Vales < 1.0: indicates that a large cross-section of the #supply is near break-even, or held at a loss. These low values have typically provided strong signal of market capitulation and late stage #bear accumulations or Simply Indicate the Market Bottom. |

Whatever you do, try to live like David Beckham and you'll never go hungry or get affected by recession or the government. He finished his career, became a farmer and uses crypto for transaction most times. He produces 95% of his food himself. No genetically modified food and he exercises while still making fiat money without doing much as Messi and co. do the work for him. This man eh! He's just too smart. Low key life. He's a global role model for people who want to escape the matrix to an extent. If you're looking for someone to look up to, it's Beckham and not that 9-5 government agent of darkness that doesn't even earn up to 300k per month, but wants everyone to quit crypto. I pray they don't sack him one day and he ends up being depressed because of zero savings and nowhere to run to except beer from his so-called Nigeria Brewery. I go press this agent of darkness neck for this thread until he becomes afraid of commenting with that his account. How can one man have more than 20 accounts on Nairaland? Is he possessed? Why are scammers always this determined? 9 Likes 3 Shares

Chikacha: Among the headless mob on this thread who follow Ilegendd the way flies follow shit it appears you are the most sensible with functioning brain sells, this is the reason why I decided to quote you. The fact that a person makes a post here which is against the ethos of this thread (which is posting real and imaginary good news about crypto) does not necessarily mean that the person is out to scam people. We all cannot have the same view about a subject matter! I made a post where I called crypto a Ponzi scheme (Which I strongly believe based on my assessment) but instead of him to "jump and pass" your god Ilegendd quoted me and the next thing I know his brainless disciples are screaming scammer all over the place. This attitude will not lead you to a good place if you continue with it! 6 Likes |

iLegendd: Your claim that the word "Government" was added to this moniker so as to aid scam is very infantile. You call yourself a legend...legend of what. What exactly is your claim to fame? What you do here is to trade futures with capital of $3 and leverage of 100x so I know you are definitely not one of the top 50 crypto traders in Nigeria. Who or what then gave you the right to include the word "Legend" in your name when you are clearly not qualified to be called a legend in any field in Nigeria?! 7 Likes 1 Share |

GovernmentAgent:Welcome, Mr. Bunkum. I noticed you've logged in Nairaland several times yesterday and today, but was more busy with your alternate accounts. The demonic government agent of darkness has crawled out. He'll soon give excuses that he was busy with life and in the office or too big for arguments. How much does the brewery pay you per month? Go and deliver speeches around the world telling everyone how crypto is a scam. Tell Russian, China, and the US government that. TrennixGLOBAL: I understand where you're coming from. There is a religious bias and I deeply get it. Emotions and rage is involved, especially to an African. The word is scam, but I used Ponzi because that is what he, the agent of darkness, wants to hear. Ponzi is someone's name â Charles Ponzi. Scam is what that person did, so they named it after him. The general word is "scam." Let your wife abandon her knew born baby and run and see if the baby won't die. Whatever can die without human intervention is a scam and I'll always defend it. So, we as humans, need to keep crypto and children alive by being there for them, else, they'll end up as scam just like Nigerian refineries. Nigerian refineries are not scams, but for intentionally letting them collapse, it's a scam. A child is not a scam, but for the mom to intentionally let the child die, she scammed him. Crypto is not a scam, but if everyone sells, they scammed us. This is the point I'm trying to make. Human workforce is needed for things to continue to exist, but when that workforce is withdrawn, they collapse. Talking about crypto, a lot of millionaires who bought are dead. They can't sell and no one has their passphrases, so everyone can't sell. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Let me talk briefly about Return The Republic ($RTR) project here. I know most of us are already aware about how it crashed from $155m mcap to dust when Donald Trump Jr dissociated himself from the project. There was so much noise on twitter about how it's a scam project and all but I silently entered with small thing around 3m mcap and I've almost doubled my initial capital even with the current market situation. Not a recommendation but,... What if this project goes close to it's ATH again? anybody that put in something at the current price/mcap would have made a fortune. Don't let us forget that some successful projects today were once termed "scam" at initial stage (for one reason or the other)...... As a reminder, Do not invest in any meme more than you can afford to lose. NFA Happy Sunday. |

I'm supposed to abandon this topic because no matter how many times I say it, most Nigerians will never understand me â they might even think I'm insane, but let me just say it one last time. Anything that can't survive without human intervention is a scam. I said it and I'll keep saying it. This is why we humans always need to be there for them to make sure they're no longer scams. None scams are supposed to survive without human intervention and they are nature: 1. The sun 2. The rain/water/river 3. The air 4. The trees and vegetation 5. The fish and animals 6. And (fill in the blank yourself) Most animals can give birth and abandon their offsprings and they'll survive, but humans? No way. These things will keep existing and surviving without us. They are the only solutions we need to survive. In those trees and vegetations, you have all your chemicals, medicines and natural food to serve you for life. If the only thing you're exposed to in life are those things I listed above, you'll live 100-700 years without falling sick. Yes, I said it. Oyibo man said no, let's pollute the world with scams that'll cause humanity some pleasure, but lot of: stress, depression, cancer, infection, etc. and they succeeded. So, let's enjoy the rat race together and we're not assured of 100 years anymore unlike when nature was our source of joy and survival. Today, it's been replaced by Nigerian Breweries (making men have pot bellies), GMO food, bank, school, Church, Mosque, etc. We've been introduced into the stressful world of survival and taken out of the natural world. Survival is winning, Franklin. Now that we're in it, we go chook head for where e go favor us and we win. Crypto gives that hope unlike banks and Nigerian Breweries. Even if it doesn't make us money, it will at least protect our money to avoid making it become almost worthless like my dad's pension. 10 Likes 3 Shares

Fuel is now selling for N950, was that what they promised us? What ponzi can be bigger than that?? Saying a mother giving birth to a child is ponzi was from a broader view, because in life nothing is certain. Everything that is uncertain have a trace of ponzi in it. Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by lrman(m): 9:15pm On Aug 18 |
TrennixGLOBAL: Are you the one behind that "governmentagent" moniker..?? The way you took the matter personal though.......anyone with common sense and strong IQ should know that when someone says life itself is a ponzi , they mean that there is nothing certain about life. , a mother can die while giving birth. , a mother can bury her child , a mother can get killed by the same child she gave birth to , a mother can kill her own child too, etc....in the normal phase of life , these things are not supposed to happen but it happens which makes life itself to become a ponzi because we experience things that we were not promised or things we did not expect. , no mother was promised that she will lose her child yet the mother can lose the child. ,a mother was promised by nature not to bury her child yet we have several mothers who have buried their child ,something which contradicts what nature promised them...in such case , they were scammed by nature 2 Likes |

The truth is, the issue raised is a deeply intellectual and critical discourse, and honestly, it demands a high level of IQ to fully grasp the concept. When iLegendd relates childbirth to a Ponzi scheme, itâs important to understand that, traditionally, the act of a mother giving birth is viewed as a natural and life-affirming process. However, the statement suggests that even this fundamental aspect of life is not without its uncertainties. From a broader perspective, the comparison implies that the inherent uncertainties of life extend to every aspect of existence, including something as natural and essential as childbirth. This view is what iLegendd is trying to explain, where unpredictability is a constant. By likening uncertainty to a Ponzi scheme, iLegendd is not literally claiming that childbirth is fraudulent. Rather, he uses the Ponzi scheme metaphor to underscore that life, much like a Ponzi scheme, is built on layers of unknowns and uncertainties. In a Ponzi scheme, the returns are uncertain because they rely on new investments; if those cease, the scheme collapses. Similarly, lifeâs outcomes are unpredictable, and the future is never assured. The central idea here is that life is inherently unpredictable. No matter how much we plan or hope, thereâs always an element of the unknown. This uncertainty is being compared to the risky, unstable nature of a Ponzi scheme. My own conclusion is that anything reliant on human actions for its continuity carries elements of a Ponzi scheme, as it can be manipulated and is fraught with uncertainties. 12 Likes 2 Shares |
