What's happening in the East for Christ sake? The Southeast governors should act fast and do something about this... How can gunmen be taking us for a ride? |

Pls let our leaders at all levels resign if they are not ready to safeguard lives and properties of the people. Enough of wasting of human life in this country. Let's give human life value. The order day I and my friends was nearly robbed in an open day robbery without anybody coming to help or rescue us at Onisha Anambra state,if not the grace of GOD something bad would have happened to us. |

BOKO HARAM DEVISED ANOTHER TACTIC - KIDNAP. After the far north states adopted unconstitutional Sharia criminal laws between 1999-2001, gunmen in form of Boko Haram emerged and say they were fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal kaws. Nigeria armed forces faced the Boko Haram gunmen in the NE. Shortly after, Boko Haram changed tactics. It changed to banditry and kidnap for ransome. The Igbo politicians who still glue to one Nigeria are ready to jet out with their family to settle abroad. If not, these Igbo politicians should have gone for referendum on Biafra. 1 Like |

helinues: Nigeria has finished literally. Tell your daddy the only way to keep Nigeria going is by restructuring the country into regional or zonal government system with fiscal federalism; or let Oduduwa Republic, Biafra Republic, Arewa Republic and other Republics that may emerge from Nigeria. The goodness in one's country is one being happy with one's country, not how big or rich one's country is. 1 Like |

wediehere1: Why was this report shy to mention the kidnappers were Fulani/northern criminals!? When Ndigbo try to do something about these incursions into our territory, it's senseless bigots like you that will scream for the vigilante to be attacked by same gov't that's unwilling or incapable of fulfilling their constitutional responsibility of protecting lives and properties of all Nigerians! Nigeria is not working....is a failed state, and should be terminated IMMEDIATELY! |

onuman: Notice how all the sick madness that was once confined to the north has gradually been creeping into the south-east ever since Buhari, Tinubu and their cursed party APC took over in 2015? Now these northern criminals have started what had hitherto been unheard of in the south-east...the attacking of schools in the region and kidnapping of students! The vile bigoted cretins that despise anything Igbo are the same ones making idiotic comments on here about this news, instead of holding their useless and incompetent Tinubu gov't to account! |

LOVEALAIGBO: The same people that are afraid of restoration of Biafra are now carrying out attacks in the southeast. It's the British colonial masters that still keep one Nigeria. No Nigerian ethnic group or combination of ethnic groups in Nigeria can stop Biafra restoration. Nd'Igbo need to take the atrocities of these Jihadists on Igboland to the British government and ask for a UN supervised referendum on Biafra. Never in history were Igbo killing Igbo. Not even during the Biafra/Nigeria civil war. 1 Like |

onuman: We can now see why they don’t want a person like Mazi Kanu released! He’s a strident voice that speaks up for the interests of Ndigbo in particular and even other Nigerians in general! The hegemonic establishment holding him captive fear his voice more than they fear the bandits/herdsmen/terrorists, and would much rather have a character like Benjamin Kalu purport to speak for Ndigbo! 1 Like |
