Hi guys. Good evening.

My sponsor (parent) recently sold two of his lands on seperate occasions and the money was sent to his account. The thing is the amount in the account before wasn’t up to required POF and now there’s a lump sum in the account.

Is it necessary to provide a section to explain this on his sponsorship letter to explain this situation (in addition to the deeds from this sales) and do I still need to do explain this in my SOP?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 8:48pm On Aug 17
Yes, it's important to explain the sudden increase in your sponsor's account balance to avoid any suspicion from VO.
[b]In the sponsorship letter[b], you should mention that the funds were acquired by selling two properties. Provide details of the sales, including the dates, the amounts received, and the purpose of the sale.
[b]In your SOP[b], you should briefly mention that your sponsor recently sold properties to fund your education. Emphasize that the funds were obtained legally and specifically earmarked for your studies.
Finally attach all supporting document to proof this

Hi everybody, is anyone (female) resuming at Centennial College, Progress Campus this September and is interested in paid sharing arrangement for accommodation. I'm also resuming and looking for someone interested. If you also already live there and need a paying roommate, I am interested

Hello everyone
Please i need your opinion on this

I did upfront medical earlier this week but was asked to do further test to confirm if i have TB. The result will be forwarded to the embassy in 8-10 weeks.

I want to know if this is not a red flag (although o am sure i DO NOT have TB)

Also, can i proceed with submitting my application IRCC even while waiting for the medicals result? I am to resume January 2025.

What’s your say on this please?

Testimony Time!

I left Nigeria on Friday night, arrived Montreal International Airport yesterday.

On seeing me, after custom declaration , the following is the conversation between me and the immigration officer that I approached for my Study permit:

Officer : You are here to study right ?
Me: Yes
Officer : What is the name of your school ?
Me: XYZ
Officer : What is your course of study ?
Me: XYZ
Officer : Please follow the directions to the next room to pick your study permit there .
Me: Thank you so much.

I went straight to the room and in about 5 minutes another officer came with my documents, handed them over to me and directed me on how to join connecting flight to my destination.

It was easier than I thought . I wish everyone here similar story . Just believe!!!

I give God all my praise for making it easier than I had ever imagined . God still answers prayers , keep praying.

Here is my two cents: book to enter through Montreal , ‘e get why!’

Wishing everyone expecting PPR goodnews from IRCC this week .

Happy Sunday guys.

Happy Sunday guys.

Congratulations, but it does not work like this for everyone, I have read of someone who entered through Montreal and his entry was not easy, there have been people who went through YYZ and it was smooth. Let us just hope for the best.

Thank you so much .

While I agree with you , I decided to give the two cents because the other guy that went after me had similar story . In fact he had just 45 mins after we got to the customs to make his next flight, he was very afraid initially but he got his in about 5 minutes too and had enough time to meet up .

On the overall, faith and favour interplay in our lives at various levels and times .

On my part , I kind of over prepared for them because despite haven taken care of documentations, I spent over 7 hrs of my flight time reading my application to ensure that I was in tune with my details and that my story stays consistent. You can imagine after such thorough preparations, you only had such an experience like I did .

Did I forget to say that I remained prayerful for mercy and favour from God through it all ? To me, that was the magic .

In conclusion, prepare well , pray well and hope for the best guys. Let your heart guide your choice of POE but from my experience, I recommend Montreal any day and time .

You can submit your application to IRCC. It'll be great to do a further test right now. I pray you succeed and there are no complications in your medicals.

Furtherance test is not a red flag. The result of the sputum test will be out in 8 weeks . 30 days after this you will do another X ray . if it is clear your medical will be passed and processing will continue and application finalized. You can submit now, but medical to pass will be delayed for 3 months.

I guess this must be IOM upfront…that was how they did my close pal…when he did his medicals for Australia…they drew their conclusions because according to them from the chest X-ray, the left and right chest was not same.

He went again, same story…but he was lucky that Australia was not too strict, thus he was on health probation and was monitored for 3months when he arrived Aussie.

It’s best you do alternative medicals with Qlife, if you have the funds.

After an application has been on for 16 weeks, an applicant sent a webform and called ircc. He got this reply

Please I need advise on what to do. I submitted my application to IRCC since June 5th, I’m yet to get a feedback. The last mail I got from them is my application summary and confirmation that they received my application. School’s resumption date is September 3rd, just two weeks away, I’m yet to get any feedback from IRCC. Please advise me on what to do. I’m becoming so worried!

Someone please advise:

I got an admission into a Bachelor's program (Public Health) in one of these universities in CA. I am to use just 2years instead of the 4years to obtain the certificate because I have a BSc already.

Considering this "In demand" program stuff that Canada might introduce, would you advice I do it or I should go for an MBA that takes the same time?

What other options do I have, if any

Trying to apply for direct MSc has been futile. Professors/Supervisors hardly respond to Cold emails.

PS:
I have dependants.

Hello @Eckimalu
What date was your medical report requested by IRCC?

I submitted my application on June 26th and completed my medical exam on August 5th. However, I haven't received any requests for a medical report, and there haven't been any updates on my medical, biometric, eligibility , or background check on my IRCC portal. The status of my application remains "in processing" with no changes. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Correct me if I am wrong l.
According to IRCC, Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision.

If you apply by mail, the processing time starts when your application arrives in our mailroom.

If you apply online or in-person, it starts when you submit your application.
However they can only attend to your application after your biometrics.
