That means all through the 2022/2023 season when he broke into the first team and fans were calling on the manager to start him in matches, he played rubbish all through? Because he played on the left that season he broke into the senior team, and not on the right.

He started playing on the right for the first time in his career last season due to Sancho and Antony struggling to impress, and the manager not trusting Amad yet. Unless you are saying he never played well until last season.

True sha. If its option to buy as reported by Florian, then its cool. I don't know much about him but I think Scouts are doing good jobs so far under INEOS.

I am happy we ain't breaking banks to get players and ready to walk-away from stupíd deals. So far we have not spent £60m on any player(s). I can't believe we get Mazraoui for that shinkinni money same as De Ligt.

You have a point but the foundation of my trepidation about the deal is that from the clips i have seen of him he is not a good enough passer. We need someone that is a good 1st phase passer, especially because our passing out of the back is still wretched.

I might be wrong because i don't think i have ever watched him play a full game, but the clips are not encouraging. Reminds me of when everybody here was hyping AWB when he was at Palace but i raised concerns about his ability on the ball. Some skillsets are more suited to small clubs while others are suited to bigger clubs.
