Summary: they no too rate all of una..

The one that weakens me the most is the way they disregard the Parliament

Imagine an American President purchasing an Airforce one through the back door without budgetary approval or Parliamentary approval. It's unthinkable..

This is one of the result of building strong men and weakening all your institutions, from Parliament to Judiciary, to INEC, to etc..

Until another election approaches.. they would return to lie to you, that's when you matter to them.

It's under service wide vote....go learn what that is and what powers the executive have over that.

He brought this aircraft without approval of the senate and nobody can do nothing about it. The worse we can do is complain and after a few weeks we would stop talking about it

Why is the govt not afraid of the backlash? They are not afriad because come 2027, they will share a few cups of rice and 5k to people to come and vote for them because most Nigerians have a price

It's under service wide vote,go learn what that is and the limit of the legislature on that.

It is not a personal property.

Future President's will use it.

A Nigerian President needs to be able to fly in a plane owned by Nigeria as and when needed.

People who say the prime ministers of some countries in Europe use commercial planes. Yes, but those countries airports and airlines are very well connected to other countries.

Nigeria airlines don't fly to many countries. I think Airpeace only flies to the UK.

So, what if Nigeria's President needs to travel to France, USA, Brazil etc? He should fly Air France, or United Airlines? What if those airlines are not available on the day he needs to fly?

Because the price of beans and garri is high, Nigeria should not buy an aeroplane? I disagree.

The Nigerian government can do both - buy the plane and continue to work to make life easier for citizens.

if its not a personal property, whose money was used to procure it?

did the owner of the money agree that the plane should be purchased with their money?

did tinubu get the requisite budgetary and legislative approval needed before procuring the plane?

tinubu asked nigerians to sacrifice. why did he not sacrifice presidential jet?

is it a must that he should travel?

of what benefit will his travelling to different countries be to nigerians?

according to you "The Nigerian government can do both - buy the plane and continue to work to make life easier for citizens".

is the tinubu government doing both?

which one has he prioritised? presidential jet or the welfare of nigerians?

why is it unbelievable? someone said "emilokan" on air before entering office and you expect him to be sensitive to your needs after entering office?

the handwriting was boldly written on the wall. many nigerians chose to ignore it

Nigeria is in the process of transitioning, Nigerians should be able to sacrifice and bear the current pains"

The office that asks this of us dips his hungry fingers into the state coffer to secures luxuries for his comfort..

Nigerians are different from Nigerians; the Nigerians that must sacrifice and dwell in hopelessness of wants and penury and the Nigerians that must feed himself fat on the state resources. Thunder, pleaser faya the latter Nigerians

I like your thoughts about the country adding another aircraft to its fleet but I will like to point out a few things clearly.

1. The Airforce is solely responsible for the transportation of the president via aircraft, here is the list of the active aircrafts in the NAF;

https://www.militaryfactory.com/modern-airpower/aircraft-nigerian-air-force.php

If all the aircraft stated in that list by NAF are functional as reported, why waste funds ?

The airforce has completely kept mute about this fyi as it was not beyond their scope. Nobody was questioned, nothing... Billions released without questioning...

2. Contract of Carriage: All National carriers are obliged to perform National assignments such as transporting the president in times of need; I thought Hadi Sirika & Co had said the National carrier- Air Nigeria have new aircraft on ground? Why spend funds if a National carrier exists... ok seriously, even if there is no National carrier, is such a Contract beyond the hands of Airpeace?

Festus Keyamo has also kept mute.
You see why one act of robbery will constantly give birth to more?

3. Why increase the current maintenance scope and costs of the airforce with that new craft addition... especially when they are struggling with the current fleet?

Both NAF and MOA have kept mute. Senate mute... tchai!

Basically at this time, spending such billions is justified when there are alternatives... of course some people will have pocketed from this window of wastage...

I will let you know something quite obvious, incase you don't know... Nigeria is a crime scene.

The French president and UK prime minister don't use any presidential airflight and we go there to borrow money everytime

What's the sense in that?
Why not fix the ones in the presidential fleet and sell off the rest to fund the upgrade? Especially the one Buhari was using...this is pure wickedness from Tinubu in a time like this.

The presidential Beast he bought cost over 2 billion and also the yacht cost 5 billion. How many presidents in the world uses such cardillac? Don't tell us Buhari budgeted for the yacht cos it's Tinubu that paid for it. So where's the sensitivity to the hardship there?
This president is the worse in human history and Buhari came so close but given Tinubu has spent 15 months then it's a world record.

Keep playing sentiments while people die daily from hunger, hardship and bad governance. Have you been to the hospitals lately? Have you seen the begging on the streets from normal people just to feed? We are not in a civil war but casualties are everywhere.
