A tuber of yam in my location is starting from 2k upwards, though i bought 3k own got 2 pieces, they were not dried but fresh type, the size was sold 6k last two months ago. i believe yam is now affordable. i got those yams in 1st week of july

I buy small yams at 1,500 Naira in my hinterland area o. Big yams 3,000-3,500 Naira. I get tired of them otherwise yams plenty in the hinterlands o.

In many areas in Oyo State, but rural communities where farmers do farming, food stuffs are very very cheap. Example I bought a paint bucket and half of tomatoes for 1,000 Naira on Saturday

Here in Ondo, average size is 1500 (5 tubers is around 7k).
The big size is 2k upwards (5 tubers around 10k)
Those very small ones are around 1k per tuber.

. despite the recent drop in prices of yam, bread is still affordable than yam.

6tubers of healthy yam for Islamic market in Iwo is between 5-6k as in big enough
