NLC President, Ajaero Rejects Police Summon, Suggests August 29th by Dapromzy333(m): 3:51pm On Aug 20
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has declined an invitation from the Nigeria Police Force, citing prior engagements.

The rejection was contained in a letter from Ajaero’s lawyers, Falana and Falana Chambers, addressed to the Inspector General of Police, News360 Nigeria gathered.

The letter stated that the police invitation, which was received yesterday, came too late, as Ajaero had already committed to another engagement.

The letter read in part: “We are solicitors to the Nigeria Labour Congress and its President, Joe Ajaero… We have the instructions of Ajaero to inform you that he is unable to honour your invitation on Tuesday, August 20, in view of the fact that your invitation letter was received by him yesterday. He has an engagement that had been fixed before the receipt of the invitation letter.”

The statement also revealed that Ajaero will be free for interrogation on Wednesday, 29th August, 2024.

The police had summoned Ajaero over allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.

Democracy and statehood is gradually been completely eroded.

To some people, what matters is someone from my tribe. To some, so long as it isn't a Christian, whatever government comes up us okay however destructive.

Can anyone tell us the credentials of Seyi Tinubu to be the beneficiary of 15 Trillion Naira contract, and how come did such an humongous contract get approved with secrecy.

Democracy is being replaced with cultist operations by APC and Tinubu. If you are not part of their confraternity, you either die of mysterious circumstances like they killed Odumakin. Yorubas have shown to the whole world the kind of leader it can produce and by extension, the kind of people they are. The earlier Nigerians and youths realize their future is what is being gambled away the better. Because of the extremely terrible policies of APC, over 85% can never have more than 95,000 Naira in their savings. From hand to mouth. It is so bad youths are not talking about dreams or marriage again, but about just being able to survive on a day to day basis.

When would young Nigerians drop hatred for the other tribe, the other religion and choose leaders because they care about statehood.

From Saudi Arabia, Aramco, to even war-plagued Russia's GAZPROM, countries with oil cash in revenues around 50-120$ Billion dollars per annum, raising life standards, yet Nigerian youths all over social media are ready to fight anyone because it is the uplifting of their clan to the presidency and by so, rationalism should be thrown away and mediocrity dethroned.

Someone is telling you people to manage. Another full somewhere is saying protest while they eat, spending 20 Billion on the residence of a criminally postured VP, 150 Billion on private jet of a criminally postured gang leader, 15 Trillion on this son as give away, then the oil wells in the Niger Delta to members of their occult groups, then whatever is left of the nation to their attack dogs and you nincompoops are rallying behind such devilish government.

What a pity ! I must pursue gaining a new passport next year ! It is not the politicians I am ashamed of, it's the poorly bred youths I need to dissociate myself from.

Please before you criticize my points start by declaring your age, bank account balance range and achievements. Nonsense

What I find very laughable is the allegation: 😀

Criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime (aka yahoo boy)

You have to be shameless to be a successful Nigerian policeman or politician. Anyways, Ajaero should honour their invitation; nobody is above the law.

Are you above the law?

Ajaero is acting as if he is above the law.

The Force PRO in an interview on Channels TV said the NLC rented their second floor to someone implicated in terrorism. He also said there was suspicious correspondence between the person of interest and NLC leadership.

Ajaero needs to honour the invitation and set the record straight. Delaying by a week is likely to impede investigations and makes him look guilty.

If FBI has strong evidence against any terrorist, they will act fast and arrest the person.

Nigeria police are useless. How can you invite a suspect for interview? Maybe, you should tell Ajaero that you will serve him with a full fried chicken and expensive wine when he comes.

Idiots in control of our security, no wonder 9ja jaga jaga.

Arrest him no one is bigger than the law.

If his hands are clean why scare?

Ajaero has no right to dictate to federal authority when to be summon.

DSS should go and burst the bastard.

Imagine given date like he is Emperor. What we do to Emefiewerey will be a child play to what we will do to Ajaero. Una go hear word by force and understand Nigeria does not belong to obi papa to think na by force to make the bastard the president. Ajaero we will teach you a bitter lesson.
