He never identified as an Atheist. In a recent interview regarding his son's transgender issue, he claimed he raised his children with Christian values. That should tell you something. He went further to claim that he believes in Christian principles as taught by the Anglican church.

The religion he spoke about in your screenshot which he claimed he had no word for can be everybody's religion. Personally I have no religion myself. My religion is to do good to all men and work collectively with others to build a just, fair and Godly society.

I also used to be fond of fasting when I was still a christian. There was a time I heard people used to hear God's voice so I said to myself. Lemme hear this voice too. So I embarked on a fasting.

I fasted for 6 months straight, at the beginning of every month, I'd go on 7days dry fasting, the rest of the 2weeks plus would be 10-10, then I'd end with 7days dry fasting again. And I did that for good 6months on a roll with every day vigil and intensive prayers every now and then, here and there. With maximum consciousness with repect to "righteousness" . I didn't even have the strength to "sin". As they call it.

I fasted till I started coughing up blood...

He's a casual Christian who has not totally dismissed his belief in God but is yet to take a final stand about God while he continues holding on to Christian values and passing them on to his children. There's no way you can pass Christian values to your children without teaching them about God.

Lying atheist, not everyone who does not believe in God is an atheist. There are agnostics, humanists, secularists, deists, pantheists, Jains, SBNR, etc. Even if he does not believe in God, you can't call him an atheist except he professes to be one!
