There's no way you can resume on the 3rd of September. Take your time on this and decide on deferring, but do everything IRCC ask of you. Please, give a detailed explanation of why you moved funds with proof of short term investment receipt, but don't state that you always wanted to defer your admission.
Muslimity:

Thanks @MarksmandD.

I will write IRCC as advised and ask for more time. But do you think I can ask for more time beyond University resumption date which is Sept 3rd which is a week after the IRCC deadline (Aug 26th)?

Please do I have to state reason why applying to school to defer my admission?

Hello bro...did you apply for msc computing thesis based?

No, Bro.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MarksmanD: 10:43am On Aug 21
Yes, you should. If it's a visa delay write it as the reason.

Please what about visa refusal? Should it still be mentioned?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MarksmanD: 4:39pm On Aug 21
Yes. In case you want to withdraw and get your money back. Some school refund policy might be they won't return your fees only if there's a visa denial.

You can go to first bank and request for mybankstatement, explain to the customer care that you want it in your email, you can try to do that also using your banking app.
I don't know if the will reply to your webform about extending of deadline since there is nothing difficult in what the asked for? Unless you are admitted to hospital, kidnapped etc. But you can try to request that today meanwhile you need to put effort and get the documents have the them ready incase you received no or negative reply about extending of date.
If you are sure of getting evidence of investment by micro finance no need to liquidate your investment since a shorterm investment. Just print both account statement and add evidence of investment, statement of explanation for removal of POF and why you didn't pay your fees complete.
For the fee, you can state that you are not sure of their refund policy, so the school allows students to deposit a certain amount to secure their seat and pay complete after their visa has been issued.
Good luck 🤞#i am also an applicant I may not have suggested the best#

Thanks so much for the insightful advice.

I’m so sorry about this. Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Did you use GCKey or IRCC Secure Portal to apply?

I applied since May 21, no passport request yet o. Yesterday made it 3 months. Please how best do I reach IRCC?
MarksmanD:
I noticed that people who applied for their study visa in April and May got feedback within a month after their submission. People who applied after first week of June are getting feedback within 6-8 weeks after they applied. I don't think it's a "New portal is slow. Old portal is fast" that everyone seems to be saying. I think they have a lot of applications right now.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Marcgrace: 8:50am On Aug 22
Hello @Everyone!
My study permit application was refused yesterday based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
I paid for two years of tuition, had two statement of accounts of 26 million Naira and 28,000 Dollars.
I'm feeling let down and could use some guidance - any advice would be appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear about the delay in processing your study permit application.

The current estimated processing time for complete study permit applications submitted from Nigeria is 6 weeks. However, the processing times are subject to change and can take longer than what is listed on the IRCC website. If your application has exceeded the processing time listed on the website, and if you have not yet received a decision, I would recommend you submit an IRCC webform to inquire about the status of your application.

Sorry about the refusal.
The issue with your application is sources of funds, I suspect the VO did not accept your explanation for the balances you presented in the application.

Please give more details about the POF so you can be advised.
