My Start Menu stopped working after i installed some softwares. Now i can't use the start menu as it has frozen. When i click, it doesn't respond. Also, right-click on icons in the task bar doesn't work.

Bluetooth not working. I've tried a few Bluetooth drivers found online. Didn't work. Even default softwares like Photo viewer, Video player and some others don't work.

It appears that the battery drains faster too.

I've tried some fixes i found online but none works. Help me.

Okay. Will i lose my files and apps after reinstalling the OS?

I tried this but couldn't do it. The moment i try to do it, a dialogue box (that should lead me to add new administrative user) appears for like millisecond then disappears.

try using Command prompt. You can browse about that.
You can boot in safe mode

You'll lose only your apps,don't delete any partition just click on the link next button.

I finally found a solution that fixed 99% of the issues i mentioned here. What did i do?
I download Media Creation Tool setup file from Microsoft website. Through that, i was able to download the windows 10 installation file which fixed the issues. I had the option keep all of my personal files and installed apps. The only issue left unsolved now is the Bluetooth.

Go to your laptop manufacturer’s website support page, enter the system model and OS and download the Bluetooth driver. You can as well run windows update to update your drivers.

Hello house, I have an issue with my Laptop (HP EliteBook 840 G8 Laptop, Intel Core i7-11th Gen), I have been using it June 26, last week of all a sudden the Keyboard stop working and the system went on BSOD mode and sometimes it takes a long life for the yhe System to come up after several attempt to power it. ..What can be the cause as I didn't even download any software recently, I have try to run HP diagnostic it shows all component is working well..

Good morning,

Sorry about the issue you are facing.

I will be glad to assist you.

Gently disconnect the keyboard flex from the motherboard to see if it will boot properly

If it does, gently tap all the keys on the keyboard one after the other to check if anyone is stuck with debris.

After trying the above options and the issue continues you will need to remove the SSD and replace with a good one then reload the OS.

So many laptops come with inferior SSD which develop issues after months of usage.

Kindly revert back for further assistance.
