Pls Mega, no need replying every post.
Most of these posts are becoming monotonous and boring because it's same thing being repeated all over!

I think we can pls talk about other stocks.........while OANDO faithfuls can peacefully be enjoying this new era and the new found love.......😊

Let them continue to argue while the O&O shares continues to appreciate in price and break new grounds.
Our own na to follow pot belles chop. 😁

It is the Oando chatter that is becoming monotonous. Perhaps you should create another thread for Oando alone. Let's discuss other stocks too.

You people are the reason for this oppositions; there's too much cho cho cho about one stock.

It's not unusual to have this much chatter about a stock that's trending. Saying this chatter and excitement is annoying others is absurd on a public forum.

All sentiments are welcome.

Why are you all Oandobites intent on silencing opposing views? Let those against it present their opinions freely.

Keep an eye on United Capital. I just opened an account with their Microfinance Bank

I saw the advert 3 days ago and was wowed!
My longest term subsector is investment banking. My thoughts are simple -

1. pensions are becoming more responsibilities for employees than employers.
2. the younger generations tend towards high risk high reward investments/trades (crypto etc.). When age catches up, less riskier investments will become their lifesaver.
3. ravaging inflation, currency devaluation, unemployment concerns are growing at unprecedented rates all over the world.
4. the level of japa means a lot of foreign funds will be injected into third and second world countries as "homecoming investments" in the coming decades.
5. the consciousness of financial planning/education is growing at unprecedented rates due to the internet revolution.
6. these firms know how to earn in both local and foreign currencies.

All these reasons present huge potentials for investment banks that are built on solid foundations. With UCAP trying to reach every socioeconomic strata (expanding clientele from streets to organizations), there's a bright future ahead.

Concern: how much of UCAP's growth and success stories can be attributed to efficient/stellar management? For how long is the stellar management promised, or what happens if management changes dramatically?

Meanwhile, UCAP was sighted @18.25 at yesterday's COB.
That's around N54.75 and counting......😊
Those that panic sold before markdown and didn't buy when it pulledback @14/15, Una well done oo. 😁

In other news, this is a plus for hardworking investors. At least my wife won't take 50% of my net worth in case she divorces me.
I'm waiting for yMcy56 to accept my proposal, backed by Mag7, UCAP, Transcorp, TRANSCOHOT, Transpower, UBA, VFDGROUP, and Zenith, before I file for divorce. Can't imagine how we'll multiply our net worth in geometric magnitudes. LOL

Many people underestimate the tactics of the President we have today and it makes me wonder why? The dude is cut from a different cloth when you compare him with others. From experiences with people and several discussions over the years, I see him as a the quarter-back of the smart major political elites including the favorites of many people. Just look at his deft move with the small lion lady who is poised to be the next CJ.

If you look at the antecedents, for him to have gotten himself on the Presidential ticket and seat, it is something he had planned for several decades when he became a Senator of the Federal Republic. Regarding the NNPC job, I believe that the President has chosen a replacement for the NNPC job immediately he was placed in and had control over Aso Rock. He must have also assured this person to be patient and just bid time to take over when the coast is cleared.

Have you not noticed that his godfather from the days of their Mobil parapo was a member of the NNPC board under Buhari and is the current Chairman of NNPC. He had also encouraged his supporters from various Oil and Gas companies, Legal and Investment Banking firms to move into NNPC since the days of Buhari in 2015 (I know a few of them who left big firms to join that corporation). It may be one of his joker to sell some of the shares from some of the subsidiaries of NNPC to the public and list them on the floors of several exchanges across the globe.

I see him most likely as the strongest political elite from the MKO-Tofa-SDP-NRC era that still wields so much power to control and protect the interests of many political and corporate elites across various Democratic republics and regime starting from 1992.

Many forget that he was instrumental in the Econet, Pension Reform Act, etc amongst other deft corporate moves that have happened over the years.

When these elites decide to play chess, we must watch and study the game from outside and not be caught playing draughts.

Point of clarification grin : Riding the Oando bus does not automatically make you an Oandobite. Oandobites are those who incessantly chatter about it out of fear. They invest too much emotionally, causing themselves great pain at any dip. If you approach riding sensibly, you clearly don't fall into this category. grin grin shocked
