This is kinda true in a sense. There are intelligent theists and there are dumb theists. Also there are intelligent atheists and there are dumb atheists. Most of the time it's usually intelligent atheists arguing against dumb theists, thats why these debates always appear to lean in favour of atheists.

The fact that I enjoy coming down hard on Christians doesn't mean I'm not capable of deciphering strong logical arguments from the weak ones.
