South Easterners are part of supreme Court justices but age do prevent them from leading the court.

For example justice Chioma Nwosu and Justice Chidiebere Nwaoma Uwa are 65 years old. Before getting to the top, they would have clocked 70.

South Easterners are among the supreme Court justices. It is age that does not allow them to reach the apex

They select the supreme Court justices from the east in such a way it's impossible to become CJN we know the trick

That's not even a problem if they corned all this positions and used it to progress the nation trust me no body would notice or even complain

Nation is bleeding from every part, yet your most educated zone is relegated lmao

The question to ask is what are the criteria for selecting judges into the Appeal Court and subsequently the Supreme Court? I really don't want to hear any rubbish about the NJC as if it is one supernatural entity populated by celestial deities. Who are the individual members of the NJC and what are their tribal/political affiliations and prejudices?

Some of these imbalances breed injustice and cause disaffection, yet everyone carries on as if all is well. At the end of the day, an implosion cannot be avoided.

I love this, they're yet to learn that having most government officials from your zone doesn't translate to improved standard of living but fans embers of hate and tribalism. The president is from the southwest while the VP is from the north, the two regions have been dominating the leadership of the country since independence with the north gaining the most, poverty, hunger, insecurity and diseases are most prevalent in the two regions especially the north that have been most time in leadership, I can only laugh at tragicomedy called Nigeria.

If u intentionally appoint overaged southeasterners to supreme court....u hav conveniently made it impossible for Dem to attain d apex position as before they reach 70 age of retirement.

No hate in what he wrote, though his comment about 'your most educated zone' is questionable.

Overall, it can't be mere coincidence that justices from the South East tend to be promoted to the Supreme Court too late in their career to have a chance of becoming Chief Justice.

You are not correct about the student loan. University of Benin was represented in the first list. By the time they publish the 2nd list many more universities will be represented.

The truth is, most Southerners dismiss every government initiative as propaganda and fake. Take off is also poor in the South West.

The student loan scheme was consistently dismissed as fake here on Nairaland and in social media despite government's efforts to publicise it. Many, mostly Southerners did not bother to apply.

Northerners on the other hand don't joke with government schemes, hence the high take-up in the North.

You can't blame government in this instance.

Same way South East refuses to join Military & paramilitary and expect to head the commission ahead of those who joined In the future.

Look at this student loan when it came out South East said it’s a fraud , the chairman came out openly and said people from the south ain’t applying , Today same people who refused to apply for loan expect the loans to be paid to them and have started crying marginalization when they didn’t apply .

The only industry igbos focus on is what they’re dominating which is trade . Nobody is marginalization anyone if you put the right effort you’ll see the result .

And we’re all living witnesses to how your devilish scheming has ‘advanced’ Nigeria in all facets of national life! The country is presently grappling with the last one you did that enabled you ‘snatch it and run with it’! You’re a prisoner to your own greed, hate, bigotry and lust for power, and naive and docile Nigerians are paying the price for it!
