I dey fear for Man.U honestly. Brighton didn't play anything spectacular from what I saw and yet it was difficult for United to muster shots on target. Which big team plays football without carving out chances to get enough shots on target? The EPL is getting tougher every season but United isn't improving. The first, second and third position at the end of the season would still go to Man.city, Arsenal and Liverpool. Man.U and Chelsea are already mid table teams

Our defense in this game was crappy.

The 2 goals Brighton scored was as a result of our weak defense. The 2nd goal was worse. 2 players in were unmarked in the 18 yard box.

Immediately that second goal was cancelled, I knew there would be trouble. They should have done better with the ball. This is not a good way to start the season. In the first half, Brighton didn't play much and united were expected to take the initiative. Suddenly in the second half, ETH decided to remove fernandes and put Mctominay. Maguire was already having a good game and thus the substitution wasn't a good one. They still have to do a lot concerning creativity in the final third of the pitch. Dropping three points at this time of the season against Brighton is a very bad sign. Any team that wants to finish in top four should be able to beat Brighton or draw at worst. No excuses for ETH this time around.

Amad was left on the pitch why?? He actually killed off all counters & attacks when manutd was 3 vs 1 and 4 vs 2 not once not twice... He removed bruno why?? The only holding midfielder you have who can pass, cross & take shots when necessary yet he was used in a false 9 to be part of a high press which actually left him exhausted its like asking kanu to do the same job😁 bruno substitution left manutd's midfield open as you could see if you watched the game brighton took control of the midfield won every 2nd ball forced manutd out wide as there was no outlet in the middle which eventually led to their goal.
All am saying is if manutd dont sack ten hag their fans who are dreaming of a solid season are in for a long ride of disappointment. The guy is clueless .
Also keep an eye out on brighton as the season goes as per my analysis if the coach doesnt change tactics it will soon show and they will be exploited cos their are more astute coaches in the prem than the clueless ten hag.
