The guy go don move the money plus I don't think he used his own account. I went to police too and they told me the bureaucracy in the matter would cost me more than the money I lost.

its every where, in western world sef we don't buy like that, I only buy if its from amazon, ebay or any other uk Ecommerce with APP, cos my bank can reverse the cash even if if received already.. Lioyds' Bank sabi do that well. they once held my account cos I spent £8k in 4days, they deducted from deposited account and also didn't return to my account they held it on fr a day, called me, put up a duo team each spent nothing than 20mins on call and later pass to other team who called later that day and refunded all back to my account and I re-transferred again.
I once ordered from IG and later foun na china I ordered from and they claimed UK.. took 15 days to deliver las last no camera for the watch.

This bastard is still out there scamming people, I pity people making online deposits to a stranger. Even the badagry address is fake, If you know lagos wella, You'd know no sane person can have a shop there, That's like Togo border.

Here are screenshots of my chats with this scammer. He even called me on phone to negotiate price and I recorded it and from his voice , He should be around 40 - 50. Omo even old people dey scam.

Scammers know that once someone is scammed they are easy to scam a second time by telling them you'd recover their loss

All these things you're saying I already did. Bank go ask you go brink court injunction and police report. By the time you get to police the matter don dey long. They will ask you to got to court. You start spending money. By then if the money has been withdrawn you're just wasting your time. The system isn't helpful. Leave talk.

These happened like 2 months ago. I had moved on and I just thought of the scam again and went to see if the page is online and I saw them posting. So to help anyone that may fall victim that's why I am doing this.

People should walk into shops instead of trying to buy from IG. Especially if the money is much. I was too trusting.

Police told me the bureaucracy behind the documentation you would need is too much and cost more for tracking. By the time you're done you may be spending more than you lost. Why bother? It was painful but I know I will get the money back. Sometimes in life you just have to count your loss and move on

Yes, the voice is an older man. If he doesn't change number 10 years from now I will still be swearing for him via text or random calls. But I've moved on. I just had to post so people don't fall for these pages

You sef too mumu. You saw the location of their so-called physical shop and that didn't set off alarm bells?

Of course, course anything Badagry or Ikorodu or other such far flung places in Lagos must be a scam.

For such gadgets, their shop must necessarily be in the Ikeja computer village axis for it to be authentic, just as in Abuja, it must be the Banex/Emab plaza axis.

I understand. There should be some punishment for these small-time scammers. If all of them get their accounts connected to their BVNs blocked all the time, it is a deterrent. But just letting them go scot-free isn't. I rather buy from Jumia or Konga than risk buying from unknown outlets who even if they are legit today can become scams tomorrow.

I came across his page yesterday on IG as well. Immediately I saw the address, I knew it's a scam page. Seme border, Badagry. And they've got other pages with same address.
