Although the chance of getting ITA with a CRS of 406 is zero, you don’t have to withdraw the Express Entry profile as it is not an application and therefore, the issue of dual intent does not apply to you.

The express entry profile got expired and I didn't eventually applied via the visit but the study route. So I do not have an active application before extensively packaging my application with well detailed information and documentation assisted by a friend who's an expert in that field.
We both have access to my IRCC account is why I'm bothered if IRCC can withdraw ones application themselves or it has to be someone who clicked it from my account.

I am not looking to have my wife give birth in Canada. I was asking to know if I should update IRCC about my study permit in my wife's visit visa application.

We applied for my wife's visit visa in April 2024. Thanks for your input. Got it.

You can raise a webform to ask them, remember not state that a third party helped with the application unless you had filed the consent form when you submitted.
You can also request for your gcm note.

I applied for a study visa in December 2023. I was approved in January 2024 (my studies is to begin in September 2024). I am enrolled in a diploma program in a college.

In April 2024, while I was still in Nigeria, I put in a visit visa application for my wife because they had banned SOWP for spouses of students in diploma programs.

While we were applying for my wife's visit visa in April, I was still in Nigeria so we applied for my wife's visit visa independently and that she's going to Canada as a tourist (tourist visa). I didnt mention my study visa in her application and also used myself her one of her hometies since I was still in Nigeria at the time of applying for her visit visa.

We haven't gotten a decision on her visit visa yet... This month (August) I have now arrived Canada to begin my studies next month (September) and I have gotten my study permit.

My question now is, do you think i should raise a webform on my wife's visit visa application to update IRCC about my studies? Or should we just wait for a decision?

Another thing to note is that my wife is currently pregnant and may deliver this month or next..

So what would you advise we do or how would you advise we proceed at this point? Thanks as I await your responses

From your previous post, hope you know that college student are not eligible for SOWP, you might also need to recheck your fund for family of four. Also studying a course below your current level education is a bad signal. Given that your application was rejected in less than two weeks of submission, Why not share your details and document submitted for the gurus here to assist you.

I am aware that College students are not eligible for SOWP. I was going for a master's program.

yes its true. There are many videos online of students in these colleges that can’t even speak good English. The schools are being called diploma mills for a reason. The degrees most times are worthless in the job market
