In most cases those guys are not directly paid by the food outlets or restaurants cause they belong to a security company who pay them poorly. But I think the management of these eateries can do better by offering them something decent to eat while at work.

Here is my own take, what’s the purpose of keeping these hungry people at the entrance of every restaurant door or any door? Like are people now crippled that they can’t open the door for themselves ? Most hotels don't feed their staff , chicken republic own is not different but am not saying that is right thing to do , morally there should be an incentive for staff which is where feeding comes, I tell the truth some security guards are even suffering more than him in this country, at least that place he is he gets appreciated tips from customers even if chicken republic doesn't appreciate him

You are right the security company takes the big share giving them peanuts , the eateries can do it's an incentive to work although it's not a must but it's very important to encourage their workers
