Complete package grin
I cooked some of the chicken in the stew and I fried the rest.
There is no light to refrigerate it even if there was a fridge, so the trick is to fry it.

Have a blessed day ahead

Hello smiley So today I am going to tell you how I prepared This chicken I bought.
Yesterday, me and my little brother was at home and he mentioned about eating a chicken.
Going to an eatry would cost a lot so we went and bought a live chicken instead.
When I got to where they sell chicken, I saw alot of them "squacking" and "Buck-buck-buck" grin
My eyes caught this particular chicken and I priced it from 18k to 14k. It had a huge chest and was super healthy.
I paid for it and we carried it home.
Chicken 14k
Pepper 2000
Toamato 500
Seasonings 300
Curry and thyme 500
Salt to taste smiley

I poured hot water to defeather the chicken.
We picked the feathers off and roll the chicken on slight gas to further remove the little feathers left.
It was bigger than my Chopping board. So I put it here to dissect cheesy
Hope u are single too!!!! Cos i am grin

Do you know how much a bag of feed cost? Last I checked, It was getting closer to 25k

Most sellers are just too greedy, they can fix any price they want and it is either you buy or leave it. The most painful part is that if you leave one place and go to another, the same treatment you will get, it is a union agreement embarassed. I'm even planning to buy some by September to rear for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, I have many people to give chicken to as gift, with the price these greedy sellers are doing now, it will be war in december cool

Eyaa. If you were in Ibadan, I would have directed you to a place where you will buy such chicken for tops 4.5-5k ie a chicken at least 1.5 kg and above in weight.
Freshly slaughtered, processed and frozen. They process for whole sale.
Nice one OP. Hope you had a nice feast. cool

When you start rearing them, please mention me on the thread, with the cost of Feed till Christmas/New Year (Festive period.) Kindly note that the best time to bring in Chicks to meet Christmas is End of Next Month (September) or Early October. This holds true if you are rearing Broilers. Before I forget, I would also like to know the cost of medication, Vaccine, and Source of Heat, etc.

Bolded is a mistake. I suggest you talk to a poultry farmer to hear what's up about corn, fuel and other input. Farmers hate these increases, as they reduce patronage. The uniform price is because each market is usually supplied by the same truck and prices are agreed to avoid undercutting so everyone can remain in business. It's not some chicken seller conspiracy.
