It is not a coincidence that since Siasia left
1. We have notvqualified for the Olympics
2. Our u20 teams have not gotten to a semi final
Also siasia knows how to blend our home based players and get the beat out of them.
Our football badly needs samson siasia.
He is needed even if he is cirrupt
He is one if the few local coaches I can trust.
The new foreign coach needs him as an assistant
We don over rotten for this country to an extend that we now embrace evil and criminality as norm

Even if Siasia won us the World Cup,Afcon,Chan etc in the past with his current bad rep he isn’t suppose to be close to anything related to our football

u dey mind fools wey shame no dey catch

Which reasonable football association will want to associate with a coach who has such bad image/reputation as siasia after his long ban by fifa?

Coaches like siasia and the other one from the northen part of this country (have forgotten his name) who was caught on camera demanding Abi accepting bribe to field certain players in his CHAN team shouldn’t come close to our football again
The matter tire me bro

He can apply for any of the age grade teams if deadline ain't elapsed. He coached super eagles twice before and didn't end well, so not that he is coming as a messiah now..though his second stint not really his fault. With flying Eagles and Dream team, He did well..

On the bolded,I wouldn't put it that way,
U can't clearly encourage corruption in any setting.
Corruption is bad,and it should not be condoned.

However on Siasia case, things ain't the way it seems.
Anyone can interpret it the way they see fit,
but for me ,
It was more of a set up,not that he set out to engage in it.
Anyone is susceptible to those sorts of temptations, especially a jobless man.
He was tempted and he failed, and consequently made to suffer the consequences on hands of equally corrupt system.

NFF beg new coach Labbadia to take charge of
German coach Bruno Labbadia has now agreed to lead the Super Eagles for opening 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda next month only after a special plea by the NFF.

Labbadia, who was announced today as Super Eagles coach, complained of the short notice between his appointment and the qualifiers.

However, top NFF officials later prevailed on him to handle the matches.

He will now fly into Nigeria with his assistants for the matches and work with the provisional squad compiled by the NFF technical department headed by Augustine Eguavoen.

The Super Eagles face Benin on September 4, before they travel to Rwanda three days later

NFF una try for this new coach appointment. Completely under the radar as it’s supposed to be.
them really try, it took them almost 3months to get a coach with the next qualifiers in about 2weeks time. A good coach for a long term but for this qualifiers I won't raise my hopes.

PSG has submitted the last and final offer to Napoli. Enrique wanted either Lookman or Sancho but Campos vetoed both.

Osimhen will be a PSG player this week.
Napoli don dey spend the money already self! Lol! A little above $100m.

Osimhen is not going to Chelsea or Arsenal or Saudi. Campos and Osimhen already had an agreement since last summer and he is ready to keep the promise.

Maybe giving him the opportunity to defend himself before banning him for life.
And then reduced it to 5 years.
Does the whole process sounded perfect?

even our national youth team jobs he should stay away

They are a lot of young coaches who deserves such chance. A good example like the one who won the league last season with rangers of Enugu or any of those doing wonders with some of our local academies

It will add more ridicule to our bad reputation as a nation

are u saying that fifa accused and banned wrongly?
I'm saying he was set up,tempted,
And he fell for it,suffered for it and have learnt his lessons.
Therefore should be forgiven.

Back to u,
Are u saying he has been practicing corruption while he was coaching our various national teams?

Why are you always thinking negative. My God!

There is a difference between being fanatically optimistic and being REALISTIC.

Ighalo was the highest goal scorer in the AFCON when he last played we then kicked🦵🏿 him out and forgot him.

Essentially because he is in the Saudi league many of you here said.

Now look at the hypocrisy and bigoted double standard, you still want VO even if he plays in the Saudi league.

I then asked if Ighalo scores more goals in the Saudi league than VO, will we then drop VO and invite Ighalo ❓

What's negative about that I think 💬 that's a positive statement.

Early days
But I can tell that Ola Aina and maybe Zaidu will thrive in this setup
Looks like he will finally address our midfield concerns
I like his ideas and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing the players he would invite
I also think Iwobi and Aribo will thrive in this setup

Our strikers will get loads and loads of chances

Fingers crossed

Zaidu is a carpenter we need much better than him to progress.

I will prefer pushing bassey to the LB position then bringing in any of torunarigha or uduokhai to the LCB position

Ighalo is retired national team player and professionally due for retirement, whether he outscores Osimhen is of no consequence .
So bringing up Ighalo name is irrelevant.
Outscoring anyone in Saudi league is not our standard for recalling anyone to SE.

So ur motive for such question is indeed negative
