Truly, I have not added anything because I have got no other job since I finished NYSC. Once I discovered here then NSE, I traded everyday with my phone. So trading is my job and I pay myself #150k every month as my job.

Senior, I won't say that I am good but I have been lucky and I know that for sure this luck will not last forever, so I am maximizing right now that I am still lucky. grin
Hmmm !! There's something about Y2K intelligence. This your type of brain can develop another WhatsApp or or Instagram. You are great my dear, even though I've been here for years, I don't mind humbling my self to learn more from you. Pls how do you used to do it, ... like how many % of your portfolio do you invest in a stock at a go and like how many stocks do you have in your portfolio at once.

I repeat ..., you are great !!

Kudos

Point & kill Number 2 for exceptional people.

This particular stock VFD is controlling over 30% of its shares.
I opened the Q2 result and I discovered the stock is springing up with a good oxygen.

The insiders have 71% of the total shares while the free float is 19%

I didn't want to point this stock because of ILLIQUIDITY but I know some people here will have the capacity to get it if they wish.

The stock was up today with 10% closing at 2.56kobo.They also recommended 4kobo dividend for 2023 financial year end.

The core investors of this stock meant business since they took over the lead of the firm in 2020.

Infinity Trust Bank comes to my mind whenever I look at this stock.

Decode and struggle to get it and see the wonders within 12 months.

Remember it is an illiquid stock

Don't also forget chams because it is Japaul's twin brother. They need big money to inject in their card centre business.Watch out

I don't think so ooo ...let's see how it goes

Most of the current market movements are anticipating the start of supplies of petrol from Dangote refinery and also the recent sign of economic recovery as seen in the latest GDP numbers.

Once Dangote Refinery officially start selling petrol, the NGX will get a lot of attention and prices of these stocks might be too high for small players to cash out big time.

Now is the time to squeeze ourselves in.

This coy is doing something I like on the MTF.

Corrective run with 3 black crows candlestick pattern after an unconvincing attempt to close above the N4--4.2 level since previous high in January.
...price would later break below a KSL @ 2.90--3, possibly driven by an intent to tap into the sell-side insufficiency (ref: IMB/FVG) created by the LS/momentum move in Nov, 2023.

However, PA now appears to be rejecting a CHOCH at a confluence with last SH and resultant neckline from DB formation prior to the impulse... which also doubles as the fib retracement discount zone (ref: 0.786), implying a weakening short term bearish continuation.
VZ/PSL sits around the N2.39 region and the strong demand-side OB just below it.

A reversal to the upside could be imminent. (supported by volume)
...regaining it's 50 period EMA or better still, the previous PRL would be KEY! (see chart below)

For those who subscribed to my outline recommendations and investment guide--Series 2 early enough, I believe you must've booked some profit at the high of N4.5 before now.
...it's time to consider re-entering the coy.

And for the late subscribers, I believe your position should be in the red in light of recent pullback.
...it's time to average down.

Fundamentally, C&I LEASING is a strong buy @ CMP.
In it's last released report (ref: UFS Q4, 2023), the company recorded an impressive growth across key revenue and earnings line with NLRI, NPM and EPS up by 45.1%, 63.5% and approx 26.9% respectively.
Worthy of mention is the material improvement in the group's CCC (EM/PCEPS) CGPR, CBR, U/LFCFS and ECP despite the huge spend on capex.

C&I Leasing's conservative FVE prints @ N6.71 using a mix of appropriate valuation model and accounting for an appreciable measure of risk premium (ref: match on surrounding risk level)
...needless to highlight that that FVE is an over 138% discount from the coys CMP.

Disclaimer: NOT an investment advice. ...the need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.

Congratulations to all who took key position @ N2.55--2.60 following the call above. cheesy cool

Technically, should the asset price close at or above the NRZ of 3.55--3.7 on the WTF, we will likely see a retest of it's previous YtD high of N4.7 and quite possibly a new high.

Fundamentally, C&I LEASING is "a really good wine that needs no bush".
Value proposition is immense which makes it a strong hold even @ a triple digit % premium to CMP of N3.36.

Needless to highlight that the company is benefiting from the current surrounding rate environment. Huge fund attraction from many industry players due to squeezed equipment/capex spend from high CoF.
Whilst the coy have most of the required operating PPE, most players just have to lease, hence the higher NLRI for C&I LEASING, some of which are fx-backed.

And on top of that, is the opportunity they have to tap into the macro end.
The company have quite a number of juicy deals from a strong mix of clientele base at present.

Don't be left behind.
BUY... ACCUMULATE... HOLD!

It is well

Hello house,
Please, I am interested in buying FGN bonds from the secondary market and need contacts for good investment houses where I can buy it.
Secondly,
Is it advisable for the investment house to be the custodian or I should have my bonds held in my CSCS account to avoid paying custody fees. What’s the pro and cons for either choice.
Thanks.

My stockbroker is Morgan Capital, if I want to buy from the secondary market, I will first check that particular bond has offers and I send a mail to Morgan Capital stating the bond name, quantity I want and my bid price/market. The bonds automatically will be under my cscs account.

C&I LEASING'S just released 2023 YE financial print is extraordinarily spectacular!

For those in, hold that asset like your life depends on it... Infact, be overprotective of it!

Conservative FVE now N9.15 which is WELL ABOVE the previous guide of N6.71.
That's an over 196% discount from the last traded price of N3.09.
...analysis later.

Rating: outperform!

BUY... ACCUMULATE... HOLD!

Enough said.

I'm just seeing this now, is this still a buy?

VFDGROUP already approved sale of 30% controlling stake in Abbey Mortgage Bank to focus more on expansion.....
These deals were done sometimes ago around June or July this year......with heavy cross deals around that time.
The new buyer not yet unveiled anyway.
