I gave three valid reasons sha but you just chose to ignore them. You may not see his bad side but his transfer issue should tell you something.

About his attitude, everybody know he is hot-headed. Imagine going live to insult your own coach. To think he was even reacting to a fake report o. Maybe Mourinho might overlook this, but Arteta? I doubt. Let me tell you that was not the first time he would be in the news for the wrong reason.

As for the other point you mentioned about being prolific or not, It is your opinion and I respect it. But at this stage, we should sign someone better please. Someone who will not only offer us goals but contribute in other aspects as well.
In terms of better aspect of play, you can't use that as a stick against Osimhen. There's a reason oyindamola normally tells me then that that's the kind of striker I like but another thing I like about him is his box presence.

With Osimhen, all these Martinelli across the goal crosses that Dave.P talksz about, he'll surely attack them. Infact, with Osimhen, Martinelli will shine cos he normally drift towards Martinelli side and he's good aerially.
He misses chance quite alright but he always open for more chances. I pity people who use national football (in his case Afcon) to judge players.

Like blueray said(and everyone knows), his issues is injury. That's the only tangible reason.

But I doubt we might go for him. Whether he's right or wrong, that burst off on social media with Finidi might dissuade Arteta. I strongly believe that's one of the reasons we might not be going for him and I see all these things as rumors.

Get me Osimhen and this

So las las, Nketiah still went for the £30m move.

Edu na man!!

It's great they stuck with their £30m valuation of Nketiah considering all his attributes he has. cool

I watched a video of Merino answering questions on Arsenal tiktok and I was surprised how fluent his English. It was from the comment section I was now seeing that he was at Newcastle around 2017; even at that I'm still surprised at how clear his English.

His English clear pass Arteta own sef. I guess that's a plus for the team since he speaks English he won't have issues communicating with teammates.

Yea.. he will give us a presence inside the box but his other aspect of playing is average. His major weakness is his ball-playing. He will be good for plan B especially during 'rush hour' but then spending 100m on a plan B is somehow.

And please chance is chance whether na national team or club side. Although I'm not ruling out the fact that he can tremendously improve but will he be fit enough?

As for your last paragraph, many fans don't know how thorough Edu and Arteta can be when it comes to transfer. Edu mentioned three of the things they look out for in a player before marking him as a target. The wage, age and i think performance. Remind me what was Auba's offence when he was left out of the team. Our only clinical striker o. Our captain o. And Blueray want us to believe they can't use that Finidi incident to rule him out. Should we even talk about how he shouts at his teammates during matches.

See if they sign him fine, if they don't, fine. Whatever I say here doesn't really matter. I no dey part of Arsenal staff.

Tell us what Auba did. And tell us if Osimehn has acted in such manner to any of his club coaches.

I dislike the fact that u can't point out any single incident where Osimehn has been found wanting as a professional in his club sides ; but yet you keep questioning his professionalism.

So u think if Arsenal signs Osimehn he will be a plan B ? grin grin grin grin

I don't even think you watch Osimehn well enough going by ur claim up there that aside for his presence in the box, there's nothing else to write home about him. For your information, Osimehn is well known for his presence in the box, his athleticism, strength, directness, runs into space, eye for goal and linkup play. Maybe u should take some time to watch his clips sha

Tbh, I don't know any clear chance Osimhen missed in this Afcon tournament. He was more of a chance creator and doing all the dirty work in that Haram system of our previous coach.

Another thing like blueray said, if you really watch Osimhen well, you'll know that all the other aspects of the game like link up, taking on players, eye for goal, strength is what he has in quantum. He's someone that can create his own chance and can convert too(something we lack in Cf position). Most people see his miss but he scores more than he misses cos he's always at the end of chances. He's not like a Jackson or Nunez that misses over and over and over again

I've always said it here that I would love Osimhen barring his injuries. I find it surprising that you would not agree to his signing due to him not having "other aspects of play". Man will really elevate us

Xhaka after a poor performance in our game vs Crystal Palace told the fans to 4ck off(because they booed him after a poor performance), Pulled off his Arsenal Jersey(as a captain o) , threw his shirt on the floor and went straight to the tunnel after being subbed off.

If Arteta and Edu are whom u are trying to paint them up there, I don't they would've worked with Xhaka at all. In fact, Arteta would've binned him immediately he was appointed as manager after Emery left. Guess what? that same Arteta managed Xhaka and turned him to a player the fans grew to love once again.

Make una no dey pain these people like some African elderly parent that will bittch-slap u for even arguing with them. All these talk about red flags, why is it coming up only when Osimehn an African player is involved. Even Suarez wey dey bite people played for top managers till he moved to MLS.

Lol... Why are you forcing argument where there is none?
I made reference to that his shameful outburst and how it could affect his transfer. How does that translate to saying he is not professional at his clubside? The Jesus comparison you brought you kept hammering on, I don't know where you found it TBH.

And I can confidently put it to you that you don't watch him more than I do. That gaffe you made about Finidi doing a presser and calling him out already proved that. If Arteta wants him, he would be at Arsenal by now or we might still be working on his deal.

All yhe attributes you mentioned above is not our problem. We need someone who will come in, give us goals and elevate the quality of the team. It is your opinion if you think Osimhen is that person. BTW, remove linking up play abeg. Una too don misuse that term.

Suarez bite situation sef, I even explained that in Chelsea thread(tho it's still my opinion)

To go on air to start insulting your coach with such foul words publicly is something most disciplined coach will frown at no matter how right or wrong you are. I'm not even against a player voicing your displeasure but to do it in that manner is so so so damn. There are various ways to pass your message. It means even them won't be spared if he has displeasure about anything serious

And tbh, even if it's a white player, I would still make same claim. It has nothing to do with him being black

Blueray is just contradicting himself. He has often disagree with Dave. P here anytime the latter mention the need for a good striker. His stance has always been that Arsenal needs an all-action forward who will not only score but contribute in other aspects as well. I wonder why he is all hyping Osimhen now. Someone who doesn't in anyway fits his ideology.

Bro.. ever wondered why Conte preferred Lukaku? Why is Osimhen still in the market?
Man is good but he has his limitations which majority here choose to turn blind eyes to because he is a Nigerian.

I said Osimehn was a better goalscorer than any of our current strikers, Guess what you did? You disagreed, you quoted me and claimed he's not that clinical.

Is Jesus not one of our strikers? Is that you not saying Osimehn is not a better striker? I brought his goal scoring records to prove he's a better striker than all our strikers yet you kept insisting he's not that clinical.

Who is now clinical? Is it Jesus or Havertz?

Lol.. thank you o.
Baba kept mentioning Xhaka. Normally Xhaka's issue then is quite normal.. he reacted because he is human. I think the fans insulted his family then.
Like how are the two scenarios similar? How?
Like Auba was late to training/match and Arteta decided to ax him from the team. Our captain and highest goalscorer o but somehow Blueray wants us to believe that Osimhen's action is quite normal and the club will overlook it.

That little altercation involving Toney and Gabriel at the end of our match against Brentford was part of why Edu pulled the plug. Maybe I'll share the post here whe next I come across it.

Lol. You don scroll up?

And yes, he is not clinical. He has better stats than Jesus. I mean which striker in EPL didn't have better stat than Jesus last season?

His chance conversion is not good enough but that 65 goals is all you see. If it is by goals, Arsenal wouldn't have approached Sesko instead of Osimhen now.

It's surprising too that people are saying he's not clinical. I think people just looks at his misses more than his scoring which is unusual.

With our team that's perfectly setup for him in terms of chance creation and aerial threat, I don't know why he won't be deadly here. Imagine we're even thriving with Havertz sef

Alright o.

But I am 100% certain that wherever Osimehn ends up, u will not see him engage in any war of words with his manager like he has never had any issue with his club managers.
There was a time maybe in 2019 or so Osimehn had a fight with balogun in training and Rohr had to bench him, Musa and Paul onucho played the cf role ahead of him. He also had a problem with peseiro, when he also had issues with Uzoho, the whole team begged him but he was wanted to fight. And the issue with Finidi which he didn't care if the report of what the coach said was true or not before blasting him online. Omor, if I be CEO or HR I would never take such person in my organization. He has the talent, he can deliver on the pitch, but the family and togetherness in the club or organization will be at risk. Same thing that happened with him in Napoli last season, he was the reason they had many locker room issues.
